Kate's POV
"Hey, (Y/N)! It's Kate. Y'know — your loving girlfriend. Mind explaining why I see Clint coming with Laura and the kids and you're not there? I swear to God, (Y/N) if you don't —" the phone cuts me off.

"This mailbox is full. Please try calling later."

"Are you kidding me right now?" I start to panic as (Y/N)'s phone kept sending me to voicemail. At this point, a tired Yelena got woken up by the doorbell ringing and me yelling at the phone machine staff I'd called after the mailbox was full.

"Well it's your fault the mailbox is full, ma'am." the operator said on the other line.  He had a lot of attitude for someone whose career depended on customer satisfaction. "What the hell are you saying?" I clap back.

"I'm well in my right to give my opinions and —" I get cut off but by the operator hanging up

"Why isn't she back with Clint?" I ask my self as I start to go downstairs. "Kate, sweetie!"

       "Hey, Laura. You guys good?"

"Just fine, honey. Just had some car trouble."

I decide to ask her about (Y/N), but Nate catches sight of us talking so he starts to run up to his mom. "Mommy! I'm tired!" he whines as he signals for his mom to pick him up. "Okay, sweetie. We don't want you cranky, do we?" Laura picks Nate up, ready to tuck him in. "Sorry, Kate. Talk later?"
