I find myself at the door of the Teepakorn Manor.

It was a journey to get here. Starting with calls to Dara to get her to explain to me what exactly do I do with the sushi. But she wouldn't give me straight answers no matter how much I prodded.

So then I called my sister Tia who laughed for fifty percent of our call but eventually told me to do exactly as she said or else she'll never help me again.

Finally, here I am, just before sunset, holding a box of raw fish, knocking on the door of the most irritating human being to walk the planet.

What's worse is when the door is answered, his butler - or whoever this man before me was - was claiming Metawin was not home.

"I am truly sorry Your Highness, but the young Lord is not here."

"His car is in the drive way."

The butler glances sideways, throwing a brief panicked look at the car in question. "He walked."

"His best friend swears she checked if he's home."

"She must have been confused Your Highness."

I highly doubt Dara has ever been confused by anything in her life. "You are well aware that it is a crime to lie to The Crown?"

The butler turns three shades paler and nods his head.

I am not about to jail some middle aged man for this. I might as well leave and eat the sushi myself.

"Very well then, I'll be on my way."

The butler has the audacity to look relieved. "Is there any message or parcel that Your Highness would like to leave for Lord Metawin?"

I look at the box in my hand and sigh. "I will bring him a parcel some other time. I doubt this sushi can stay fresh until his return."

As if by some magic, the butler is bumped away from the door frame and Metawin emerges.

"Sushi?!" He exclaims, eyes disappearing. "You should have said you brought sushi!" His lips open into a wide smile, making his teeth look cute.

I haven't even a nanosecond to absorb what was happening before Metawin grabs the box in my hand and slams the door on my face.

What the absolute hell?!

I start knocking on the door.

"I'm not homeeeee," was the sing song reply from within the castle.

I knock a few more times but it becomes clear that Metawin had every intention of leaving me like a fool standing outside his doorstep.

I text him.

Bright: Let me in.

Metawin: I'm not home.

Bright: Then someone who looks exactly like you stole the sushi I was holding then left me outside your house.

Metawin: Shocking!

Metawin: Who was the sushi for anyway?

This question makes my stomach feel all twisted. Which makes no sense whatsoever. I answer as I try to push the feeling away.

Bright: For Metawin. He's not going to be happy once he finds out his evil twin stole it.

A couple of minutes pass without a reply. I consider calling for my ride. This was getting too embarrassing. What kind of Prince waits around -

Metawin: Why are you here with a box of food?

Bright: You seemed upset earlier. I got concerned. I thought perhaps you'd talk to me about it if I came bearing gifts.
