If denial were a sport, we deserved a gold medal. It's been a couple of days since Tokyo and Metawin and I have swept any issues we may have under the rug.
That should be fine, right? It shouldn't be a cause of concern?
We can talk about it some other time.
What's a few days to simply digest what we're feeling? It's wise to take our time.Yes, of course. I know. But well, it's denial. At least I am admitting I am in denial.
What can I say? It's cozy here. In my white cable knit sweater snuggled in the arms of my amazing boyfriend, watching some TV rerun like we didn't have a care in the world.
Win turns to me, eyes all sleepy and smiley. I kiss him lightly on the corner of his mouth and he lazily kisses my cheeks in return while his fingers trail slowly up my sweater. I sigh contentedly and we both turn back to the television.
Why would I want to ruin this?
The elephant in the room can wait.Except the elephant apparently had friends in high places.
Because just as I planted another kiss on Metawin's soft pink lips, we both hear the knob of the room turn. We jump apart and suddenly tense. I rearrange my hair and stand up just as my father walks in the door.
The King himself.
Metawin scrambles to his feet and gives a low bow.
"Father, you're back."
"We landed a couple of hours ago but I had to stop by the ministry first."
"How was your trip? I could have come to your office if I have known you were back."
My father fondly messed up my hair. "No need to be so formal, Bright. We're making your friend uncomfortable."
I gulp. There was no escaping this. "Father, this is my friend Metawin."
"Your Majesty," Metawin says, falling into another bow.
"Get up boy. It is quite alright. Metawin?"
"Teepakorn."
If my father had any objections to the name, he hid it well. "Ah yes! The viscounts Teepakorn. I did not know you and my son were friends."
"Dara Kiityangkul introduced us," I hastily supply.
My father nods, his smile not leaving his face. But when he looks back at me, I see a hardness in his gaze. "Metawin, would you mind if I talk to my son for a moment."
"Of course not Your Majesty," Metawin makes a move to leave the room.
"No, please stay. Bright walk with me please."
I shoot Metawin a look as I follow my father outside the room.
Metawin gives me a small wave but I could see the worry creasing his brow.
At once, the garden flashes in my memory. And this all feels very familiar all over again.

Author's Note
Did I disappear? Yes. Am I sorry? Yes. But I am back! And finally on my trip! So definitely I can make time now. This is my first update of the day. I plan on one more right after this Author's Note. :D
I have been thinking of this story even while I disappeared from the face of Wattpad and I think it's almost at it's end. Although, I am hoping I can do a special chapter tomorrow to commemorate LOL. I AM EXCITED FOR LOL. :D I wonder what they'll sing.
Unpopular opinion, but I actually like the BW logo. It's very understated. It looks like a car logo (BMW for example) and so it's very them.
Happy Friday everyone! :D
P.S if you wanna see the logo drama:
This is the Brightwin logo
And some are comparing it to other logos in GMMTV.
Again, personally I am ok with it. If I had one beef, it would be that they should release it in high-resolution. Haha!
