Chapter 49.. Just Say Yes

Just Say Yes

(Jacqueline's P.O.V.)

"Kenzie this one! Oh my god! It's so cute!" I scream shoving a purple sparkling shirt into her face.

"Yeah! That's cute babe!" She says flipping through racks of clothes.

"I need this!" Kenzie screams, trotting over to me. She holds up a pink lacy shirt.

"Yes you do! Ready to pay?" I ask, looking at what she has. She nods.

"You go first." I say. She puts her 3 pairs of pants and many shirts on the counter. She waits while I pay and we go to get something to eat.

"Pretzels?" Kenzie asks as we walk through the mall.

"Sounds good." I say. We walk into the pretzel shop and order two pretzels with cheese on the side.

"We should buy the boys something." I say crumpling the wrapper my pretzel came in.

"Alright." Kenzie says, chewing the last bite of her food.

"Where should we go?" I ask.

"The pet store!" She screams, clapping her hands together.

"Genius!" I grab her arm and pull her up, dragging her behind me. We walk into the pet smart and immediately walk back to the cats.

"Kenzie! He would love this one!" I point at a calico kitten.

"They're so expensive! Eight hundred dollars?" Kenzie asks.

"It's not that bad.. We need to buy this. Lets go find someone." I say, pulling Kenzie along. I find an older lady and ask for the cat. She brings me back and unlocks the door, placing the cat in a cat cage.

"Do you have turtles here?" Kenzie asks.

"Mhm, right that way." The lady says, pointing to the right. We follow her instructions and find tanks of turtles. Kenzie picks one out, along with a tank and necessities.

"Harry, Liam! We have a present!" I scream.

"What is it?" Harry asks, walking up to me. I hold the cage tightly behind my back.

"No, close your eyes and wait here." I say, carrying the cage into the bathroom. I grab the kitten and walk back to Harry.

"Eyes closed?" I ask.

"Yes."

"Hands out and open."

I place the kitten in his palms and wait for his reaction. His eyebrows furrow and he shoots open his eyes.

"A cat? Oh thank you! I love you!" He shouts, admiring his new pet.

"Liam baby?" Kenzie asks, walking in with a bucket.

"Yeah?" Liam asks, standing up.

"Come here." She says. She places the bucket on the table and urged for him to look in it. He smiles and hugs her.

"Babe thank you!" He says, picking the turtle out of the bucket.

"Mhm." She smiles.

"The stuff for the turtle is in the car." I say. Kenzie and Liam go to get the rest and I sit down with Harry.

"Do you like her?" I ask, petting her head.

"Of course." He leans in and kisses me gently.

"Ms.Fluff." Harry says, stroking the cat. I smile.
