Chapter 10..Failing Or Passing?

I walked into the bathroom and Harry followed behind me. I opened the package and read the instructions, it’s simple a plus sign and two lines means pregnant, one line means not pregnant. I inhaled deeply and let it out as I looked down at the test, Harry rubbed my back. I felt so nervous, the feeling in my stomach was like when you talk to your crush for the first time. “I’m going to take it now, wait for me right here, please.” I told Harry. He smiled and nodded and I peed on the stick. “We have to wait 5 minutes now.” I said as I set it on the counter. “Harry I’m really sorry for getting you into this mess. I feel horrible!” I said as I looked down at my feet.

“No don’t be and it’s not a mess. It’s called a family and if it happens it happens. Things happen for a reason and eventually we would have a family anyways and if it happens now that’s okay. The fans may not support it and that hurts but this is our life and we have to live it. I love you.” He told me. I jumped into his arms and hugged him really tight. “Jacqueline there’s something blue lit up on the test.” He slowly muttered out. I turned around really fast and grabbed it, I covered my mouth and looked back up at Harry. I showed him it, false. “I’m not pregnant!” I screamed. My mood rapidly changed as I remembered I was supposed to get my period, had I? No I hadn’t, I told Harry and he said to look it up. I got onto Yahoo, great, more rumors. Oh so now there’s pictures of Harry and I with the pregnancy test and we were wearing the jackets because of the cuts and bruises left on us caused by the ‘fight’. Wow, people just can’t get enough can they? I showed Harry the rumors and he just wanted to blow it off because they’re gonna make rumors anyways but we knew they weren’t true so its okay.

I typed in why I would miss my period and a couple options popped up but then again one stood out to me. Pregnancy, but how could that be when the test said false? I wanted answers and I found out what I wanted to know. If you’re to early in your pregnancy the test will not recognize it and it will tell you false when you could possibly be pregnant, it’s also a big possibility if you missed your period. Now I was convinced that there was a tiny person inside of me. I told Harry and he said that we’d just have to wait a couple days or go to the doctors. “Lets go to the doctors tomorrow.” I said, because they’d be able to know with blood tests.

“Get dressed, I wanna take you somewhere.” Harry said as he started changing his clothes. I got up and changed into a flower halter top and pink skinny jeans with black flats. I did my hair in a braid to the side and applied a bit of makeup and I was ready.
