When she got it she acted that nothing happened. I wanted to tell him but I couldn't so I kept quiet. We ran out of water so we decided to look for some. It went on for days. We only found 1 half-filled bottle. We decided to go to an ocean that was our last resort. The ocean wasn't too far from where we are but it felt like I was dying. Before we went looking for water Alyssa took the gun from Kelton's parent's room. They were gone anyway because they went on a trip. I'm sure they have plenty of water there. We were almost there but there was a fire in the forests. I smelled the burning wood. It was strong and so we ran… at least we tried to but we were so dehydrated that I almost collapsed. I was so tired of this that I just wanted water. Garrett collapsed. I didn't feel like breathing. I was so done with this world so I took the bag from Alyssa who was sitting there in defeat. I heard the crackling fire and I put the gun on my head and I shot myself. I awoke in a hospital bed. I saw needles in my arm and nurses and doctors walking around with their notebooks beside me and I looked through them. Doctors came in and checked if I was ok. They said I was in a coma for 12 years. I couldn't believe what was going on. I saw these people who claim to be my parents. I asked what the context of the books they said I made when I was 12. Was that all a dream….. Was it all a dream? As I get older I'm forgetting what happened in my so-called dream as I'm sitting in the darkness. Then I see Kelton Walk through the door "hey" he said he looks older now. "What happened, how are you alive?".
