(7) Babysitting

"RAY!" I saw her fell on her side. I rushed to her aid when I heard her scream in pain.
"Randy!" She screamed "are you okay?!" I asked her, she's so red...

"I- I think I broke my arm!" She said while breathing heavily. "Oh god, yep that is a broken arm..." I said when I saw her dislocated bone "can you get up?" I asked her while taking the bike. She nodded "yeah." And stood up.

"Hop in, we are going to a doctor... just relax okay? Don't move it!" I almost puked when I saw it again phew

"Alright we are here," I said getting off the bike and assisted her inside the hospital.

"Help, she broke her arm..." I spoke up for the receptionist to hear. She then wrote down our names and lead us to a room.

"This way please," she said motioning to a door "but sir, you can't come." She said with a small smile as i nodded "okay, i'll be waiting." I said as Ray entered the door.

"Nurse, uhh.. I'll pay for her bills." I said going in my wallet. "No problem sir, I'll see how much it costs." She started walking towards the counter "Uhh no, here's $500, I can't be bothered. Thanks." I said handing her the money before turning my heel towards the waiting section.

Few minutes flew by and I was just sitting at the waiting section when I heard my phone rang. It's Yuno calling. "Shit." I mumbled.

"Yoooo! Yuno what's up?" I greeted him
"Oh nothing much. just wanna ask, is Ray with you? She hasn't been picking up her phone, i'm starting to get worried." He spoke up on the other line.

"Ah yes, she is with me..." I said
"Oh nice, what is she doing right now? I kinda wanna meet her." He replied. frick, do I lie or tell the truth? No no... I can't tell him the truth.

"Ah... her phone died and right now she's using the toilet, i'll let her know that you called then maybe she can call you back." I said making sure he hears me smiling.
"Okay, thanks, Randy." He said before hanging up.

Soon Ray exited the room with her arm casted.
"Hey Randy" she greeted me with an excited tone. "Ray, what happened?" I asked her worried.

"Oh, I wasn't looking at my speed and lost balance... I guess I accelerated too hard." She said with a nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of her head.

"How are you feeling?" I asked looking at her cast. "Oh I feel good!" She squealed excitedly.
"Ha! You're so brave how can you sound so happy after you just broke your arm?" I asked giggling.

"Well... you see this is something to remember in the future, I'm gonna be like... remember when you taught me how to ride the bike and i broke my arm? You know? Stuff like that, It's a memory..." she explained which left me speechless.

"You're right... you're right..." I said nodding in amusement. "By the way, Yuno called me, he asked me if I was with you and that you haven't been picking up his call..."

"Really? What did you say?" She asked teasingly knowing well I couldn't say the truth.
"Oh, well i told him that your phone died so you couldn't pick up, you better call him before he kills me..." I said shaking my head.

"Fine..." she sighed reaching in her pocket.
"Where's my phone?" She asked concerned. "I don't know, is it in your bag?" I asked shrugging. She then rushed to her bag and searched it for her phone.

"Oh! It's here, god i scared myself." She announced pulling her phone out the bag.
"Randy!" She screamed my name which made me panic and rushed towards her.

"What happened?!" I asked concerned. "My phone is broken! I think it broke when I fell on my side... good thing my credit card is fine though..." she sighed.
