(14) Vacation Nightmare

Randy's POV

A few minutes after we drove off the car was filled with silent snores, everyone's either slumped or had their heads down except for me and Ramee, we're both driving just in case one of us gets tired and we need to switch.

"Yo Randy, go get some rest, I'll just let you know when It's time to switch or something." Ramee told me. "I'm not that tired." I commented.

Ray shifted from her sleeping position which caught my attention, she seems so tired, probably from my bullshit. Honestly, I don't doubt her at this point I don't know whom I love most, I know I'm only dating Violet 'cause Ramee pushed me to, but my heart is searching for something more like Ray- what am I thinking?

I shook my head, hoping I'll also shake the thoughts away- But what if it's not just me thinking that, what if... it's actually my heart wanting me to know something, what if I already know that answer but acts dumb... yeah that sounds more like me, I'm just acting dumb.

Violet then pulled me into a hug, making me lie down. My mind's foggy, I'm trying to think of something but I can't so I just closed my eyes until I fell asleep.

Ray's POV

I woke up to the sound of waves, crickets chirping, and laughter outside from where I am laying. Another sound of a wave made me realize- we're at the beach, but how did I get in this room?

I just laid there, staring at the ceiling, savoring the peacefulness of the room. I looked around to find a clock and caught a glimpse of the time, 5:15.

I decided to get up and change into an outfit that fits the beach vibe, white crop top, and a blue floral skirt should be good.

I washed my face and braided my hair, and on the vanity I saw the blue box containing Randy's gift, I decided to wear it, it is mine after all I'm sure he won't mind...

I stepped out of the room, and saw my friends sitting around the camp fire. They all looks so happy, Ramee's holding a guitar while April is singing. I immediately wanna join them so I ran towards the campfire.

"Oh, hey Ray!" A huge smile formed on Ramee's face once he saw me, Randy had the same smile, but it means more- I haven't seen him smile in forever, I noticed the fire's reflection in his eyes- dancing while his stare won't let go of mine.

"Omg! Ray, you and Violet are almost matching!" April laughed. I turned around to see her with the same floral skirt but in red. "Yeah." I simply commented before sitting down in the campfire, joining them.

Ramee started playing songs.

"Babe, I kinda wanna dance." April smiled as the sun is about to set. "Let's do it?" Ramee asked while April just nodded. "They're communicating in a way we don't know, oh god." Yuno commented, making everyone laugh.

April & Ramee's POV

Ramee started strumming the guitar whilst I wait for my go cue, a lot of people don't know that what we're about to do is the real reason we met.

People actually thought he's my sugar daddy, but that joke kinda died a little early.

Both of us always harmonized the second line, but it wasn't the first time we got people cheering and clapping once they heard us sing together.
