"The flats nice." I marveled walking inside the door.
I think I'm going to love living here.
"Your rooms down the hall to the left." Dan instructed pointing to the door.
"Ok thanks!" I replied dragging my suitcases across the floor.
The room was nice, but not really my style. The walls were a light pink and the carpet was a light grey. A big window sat along the wall letting in streams of light. There was a king-sized bed with white sheets and light pink blankets that matched the walls. It also had a brown closet, a matching dresser, and a white nightstand with a simple lamp on top of it. To top it off there was a t.v across from the bed.
A little girly for me but I wasn't complaining.
I began to unpack some things, but I didn't get to finish because I overheard Dan and Phil outside my door.
"We should go to ShakeAway!" Suggested Phil jumping up and down.
"Phil we have a child now! We can't just-"
"I'm up for it!" I yell already bursting out of the door, slipping on my boots, and running out the door.
"Wow she's a LOT like you!" Phil said laughing at Dan.
"Yeah... I have a feeling we're all gonna get a along great." Dan smiled as Phil and him walked out the door following me.
Dan and I both got butterscotch with Maltesers and Phil got cookies and cream.
"Best.Dinner.EVER!" I yell on our way back acting as if I hadn't eaten for days. I'm glad that they seemed to be the cool parents. Well they were in their twenties after all!
"Yes, but that's only gonna happen once in a while. Plus you became part of our family again today so you deserve it!" He said grinning at me.
Without thinking I leaned over and gave him a hug.
"Aww! I want a hug!" Phil whined leaning over and joining in.
"Our family is really weird..." I muttered under my breath as we all started to laugh and continue walking home.
"Aw crap I promised I'd upload my new video today!" Phil groaned as he checked his twitter.
Video?
"What video?" I questioned
"Well umm you see we're kind of famous on YouTube. Dan even has a million subscribers!" Phil said pointing to Dan who was in the middle of his Guitar Hero solo.
"Right Dan?" Phil called over to him, but I doubted that Dan even heard him.
"IM TOO BUSY ROCKING OUT!" He shouted over the music. He was actually pretty good at that.
I bet I was better though.
"Dan! Can I try?" I asked as my lips curled into a smile.
"Ok then! I challenge you to a guitar hero battle!" He yelled making a dramatic, echoing noise.
"Your on!" I smugly said as I grabbed the second guitar.
"Wait. Your left handed too?" He said happily staring at the guitar.
"Yep!" I answer.
"We'll that's-"
I didn't give him time to respond. I quickly reached over and picked a song for him. I needed to make sure we played it.
"What the...Oh thanks I was just about to pick that song!" He smiled picking his difficulty.
Expert.
Little did he know I was expert also.
"Ready? TO LOSE!" He teased as his finger lingered over the green button.
"In your dreams! Your on bro!" I fire back with a determined smile as I hit the button for him once again.
