This is cute, fluffy Sokeefe oneshot, cause next oneshot is gonna be sad. Soooo....yea. enjoy.
I want to dedicate this chapter to @ForeverSokeefe, she was one of the first people to read my story.
Lots of virtual hugs for you, Coco.
Also the Neverseen are still causing havoc. *sigh* I really want to murder Gisela right now. And the Neverseen in general.
Sophie heard the arguing of the Black swan and her friends as she tiptoed to the front door of Havenfeild and quietly slipped out into the rain.
They were trying to figure out what the Neverseens next big move was, but of course it turned into a fight.
Sophie sighed. The rain always helped when she was stressed or overwhelmed, so stepping into it she let all her worry's wash away.
She stayed out there a few minutes before she felt a pressure on her hand.
She looked down to see fingers intwining with hers. Sophie's eyes traveled up to see strong arms that connected to broad shoulders, and the she finally made it to a pair of ice blue eyes.
"Hey, Keefe." She said, trying to muster a smile but failing miserably.
She didn't know how Keefe did it on a daily basis, Which made Sophie want to hug him and squeeze all his worry's down the drain too.
"Hey, you okay?" Keefe said softly, nudging her with his hip. He started using that sweet voice only for Sophie, knowing exactly when she was stressed out. Sophie loved him for it. Wait, where did that thought come from. Sophie, get a hold on yourself.
"I am now." nudging him back. Then she blushed, realizing how that sounded. Then blushed some more when she remembered that Keefe was an Empath. "I mean, the rain helps me," She patched up her mistake. She sighed with relief when Keefe's concerned face seemed to soften a little.
"You know what helps when I'm stressed?" He said, with a small smirk plastered on his face.
Sophie was a little surprised at the question, but it didn't stop her from asking "what?"
"I like being around you." He said, bringing his face to the sky and letting the rain fall over it.
Sophie scoffed. "Yea, right. You like being around the Moonlark. I bring the exact opposite of calm."
Keefe turned to her. "I don't mean the Moonlark, Sophie." He said, using her first name, which probably meant he was being serious. "I mean you, you. I like being around the beautiful, feisty Foster everyone loves, especially me. Your the reason I wake up every morning. Your the reason I'm not dead right now." He smirked.
Sophie almost melted at his words, and the most surprising thing was? Sophie actually believed them.
"I like being around you too, Keefe."
He smiled, not a smirk, not a grin. A smile. And Sophie loved it.
"Hey, you wanna dance?" Keefe said, after a few comfortable moments just standing in the rain.
"Keefe, knowing me, I'll probably trip."
"So? You know I'll catch you." He stepped closer to her and put his hand on her waist and the other hand brought hers in a steeple position.
Sophie blushed when she saw how close they were, but it wasn't awkward at all. It felt....right.
"Keefe, I don't know how to dance." She laughed
"Foster, you aren't gonna get out of this that easily." He scolded, spinning her around.
Keefe caught her right before she tripped over her foot and face planted on the muddy ground. "See, I'd told you I'll catch you, didn't I?" He said, Bringing his face closer to hers, till there foreheads touched.
