Short and sweet Sodex

So this one will be a little Sodex one, it won't be as long as the other ones, but I promised @KotlcHPHamiltonLOV3R a Sodex one, and I'm gonna give it to her. So here you go, Olivia. Hope you like it.

"Dex, that's not how that works....." Sophie tried to snatch the phone away from him, but he was to fast for her. He cracked up when she fell face first on the flower covered carpet.

"That was pure gold." He said in between laughs and wheezes. "Good thing that I took a video of it."

"Oh, you did not." Sophie, once again fell, trying to grab the phone from him.

She originally brought the phone from a trip to The Forbidden Cities, but Dex came over a few hours earlier and found her scrolling Facebook and Instagram, and he wanted—being the Tecnopath he is—to learn how such a small thing can include so many information. So she showed it to him, and unfortunately found out how to work the camera.

"Oh, yes I did." He stood up and scrolled through the random photos he took and tapped on one, "here's a good picture." He turned the phone around, showing Sophie and him playing with the baby Alicorns.

"Aww, that was a cute moment." Sophie dusted herself off and sat on her comfy bed, Dex sitting next to her, making her incredibly self-conscious of how close they were, they're knees almost touching.

Dex seemed to notice too, because he blushed and scooted away from him by a few inches, making her heart deflate like a balloon.

As Dex kept looking on the phone and occasionally asking her how did so and so work, Sophie sat and wondered how she never noticed how she neglected Dex on all they're missions together, and how she focused on Fitz or Keefe or anyone else in the team, except her best friend. She suddenly felt very guilty about that.

"Hey, Dex?" She ducked in a breath, hoping the conversation to come won't be a disaster.

He turned towed her and looked in her brown eyes with his periwinkle ones. "Yeah?" He asked. "Soph, is everything alright?" She loved how he always was concerned about others.

"I...think I haven't been a good friend over these past few months, and I'm really sorry I've been neglecting you, and I'm....I'm just trying to say I'm sorry." She shut her eyes, afraid to look at her hopefully still best friend.

"I accept your apology," Dex said, making her open her eyes and blow out a breath, "but its been hard seeing you work with Wonderboy and Hunkyhair, forgetting all about me, and not once getting some quality time with just me."

"I know, and I'm super sorry for not even giving you a hug when you needed one. And I won't make any excuses about me being busy with being the Moonlark. That's not fair for you."

Dex smiled, "I'm really glad you figured that out, I hope we can still be friends." He looked like he was trying to hold in his doubt and put on a smile instead, making Him remind her of Keefe.

"Of course, Dex, I promise I will always find time for you, okay?" Sophie smiled herself, glad that they were on the same page again.

Dex opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted by clapping in the doorway, making both of them turn towards the sound and see Tam, in all his dark and emo glory.

"Well, that was sweetest thing I've seen all day, but I need help with something right now, so can you guys come outside and help me with it." Tam said, tugging on his silver bangs.

"And what is that 'Something?'" Dex asked skeptically. "Aren't you supposed to be with your boyfriend on a date or something?"

"That's the thing, me and Keefe stopped here. Well, more like forcing me too. He wanted to see if Dex had the new pranking elixir out. And when we stopped at Slurps and Burps, Kesler told us that you were at Havenfelid, which made us smirk because of course your at Sophie's place, probably dying iggy and being best friends for life," Tam took a deep breath, probably because what he was going to say next was going to a lot. "When we got here, my boyfriend wanted to go see the baby Alicorns, and then see Verdi, but being the dumbass he is, he got himself set on the roof by Verdi and left they're for dead. Makes me wonder why I even love him again."

Dex and Sophie looked at each other in confusion and amusement. "Um...can't he levitate down?" Dex and Sophie asked at the same time. Making them both blush, making Tam smirk.

"It's to windy." Was Tams reply before he turned around and walked downstairs. Probably grabbing some Mallowmelt her mom made.

Dex and Sophie looked at each other one more time before cracking up so hard that Sophie head fell into Dex's lap.

"I don't know how Keefe can get into these crazy places." Dex said in between laughs, "we better go help him."

"Yeah, we should." Sophie said, sitting up and kissing his cheek, making him blush a tomato red. "I like our time together. We should set up an other day where we could just catch up."

Dex touched his cheek where she had kissed him, "yeah, that will be great. But first let's help Hunkyhair."

"Agreed."

Well, sorry if it wasn't cute fluffy Sodex you wanted, because when I think of Kam I tend to write it down, and yes, they're will be more Kam in the future. Don't worry. (I sound like Alden.)
But I tried my best, even though I don't ship Sodex, I still loved writing this.
