Stella's POV

The next day we woke up very solemnly as we dressed fixed our hair and went to class. No one scolded us for being late. Their eyes were filled with sorrow knowing that some of their students would be gone. We left school and had a few hours to spend. I sat at the lake with my sister who was frightened out of her mind that she would get called in. No matter how much I reassured her she would be fine.

"What if-"

"Rose. We're going to be fine. It's just a slip of paper. We are going to survive 45 minutes of standing there and move on with our lives. Got it?"

She nodded "I'm sorry for ruining your shirt and crying so munch."

"It's fine." I smiled as I hugged her.

"How do you do it?"

"Do what?"

"Be strong."

"You think I'm strong? That I'm brave? I'm terrified like you are. I jut chose to push it behind and move forward."

The bell rung as Rose gripped my hand in fear. We walked in like a military as we're sorted into our houses. The lights dimmed as the goblet of fire was brought out. Then the doors opened as Voldemort himself stood at the doors. I froze petrified to the bone. I've heard of him but I had never seen him. My sister who was on the other side of the row paled even more.

Breathe Stella.

The whole hall was quiet as he ascended the steps to the goblet of fire where the names would be drawn.

"Good evening." He said. I could have sworn I heard crickets. "Tonight we shall draw forth 9 students and 3 wizards from the battle of hogwarts. But first if you would give a welcome to Harry Potter the boy who lived and his two companions. Ronald Weasely and Hermione Granger. "

The doors opened to find three once students of hogwarts as they had dark circles under their eyes and they were thinner than normal. I met a pair of green eyes-Harry I believe as he walked forward. The parents were also here today as they stood to the side.

"Let the drawing begin!" Voldemort announced.

One by one four people from each house went. Some were screaming, crying, begging and others just nodded as they shook Voldemorts hand. It was finally time for the Gryfindors to be called.

"Harry Potter." Voldemort said smugly "step forward."

He stepped forward with no emotion as he moved towards the other tributes

"NOOO!" a red head screamed and began to cry "Harry! No don't do it!" Another redhead woman assuming it was her mother held her back with tears in her eyes.

"Ronald Weasely."

This time it was the mother that began to sob.
"No.... Not my son!"

"Hermione Granger"

The girl stepped forward as it was silent. It looked like her parents didn't show. I gave her a sympathetic look.

"And now for the final tribute."

I sat up straight and panicked it could be or my sister. Or any one in the Gryfindor house.

"Rosalie Evans."

I froze. There had to be another Rose somewhere. My sister began to shake as she moved forward. My mouth went dry not knowing what to do.

"Rose..." I whispered as I pushed my way through "rose! NO NO DONT GO! I VOLUNTEER!"

The whole audience was on me as I moved forward.

"Well then. Come forward." Voldemort spoke as I numbly walked forward. He grasped my sweaty hand in his ice cold one.

"Your name?" His eyes were on me leaning forward

"Stella Evans." I whispered with terror

He turned me to face the audience as he lifted my arm up to show.

"Stella Evans everyone! Our first volunteer!"
