Stella's POV
it was nightfall when I reached the castle. I had to find shelter, but there was nowhere particularly safe for me to stay, I still had the two slytherins, the three ravenclaws and the trio. So where was the safest place I could stay at? I found myself going up to the divination tower as I hid behind a large curtain hoping that sleep would take over me.
A few hours later there were several gusts of wind. None of the windows were opened as fear crept up my spine. Drawing my wand I peeked through to see what could have caused the wind. It was pitch black and I felt cold to the bone. Suddenly a dark hooded figure shaped like a ghost rounded the corner.
It could only be one thing
Dementors.
Hiding behind the curtain barely breathing I just hoped that they would pass by. There was a shrill in the air a thump as Jade a ravenclaw went down soon following the others in her house. (6 left).
I'm going to be next. I thought. Unless I get out of here.
Quickly and quietly I made my way down the steps and out the door. I felt a gust of wind come as I shivered in fear.
No. Please no.
"Expecto Petrolem! " I yelled s a bright light sourounded me like a shield. Then my patronous , a Phoenix flew down and swooped in front of the Dementor causing the Dementor to shriek back in fear. The sun began to rise as a glimmer of hope shone. I could make it. They would have to retreat to avoid the light. Within seconds they were gone as I made a break for the tree. Stumbling from exhaustion I landed face first on a branch.
Then the branch cracked and I feared for my life more than ever right then.
Hey sorry about the bold and italics I'm doing this on my phone and idk how to change it. Oh well. Hope u enjoy this!
