Stella's POV

the next morning I woke up in cold sweat. I quickly showered and put on uniform and heading to the living room.

"Anxious?" Hermione asked

"Very." I nodded nervously as I grabbed an apple and sat down watching the flames. Harry and Ron came down just as nervous as I was. The bell finally rang as we all assembled in the hallway with the other houses. I felt a warm hand on my shoulder to find Neville.

"Neville! I haven't seen you in awhile! Where have you been? " I hugged as he returned the gesture and hugging the trio as well.

"Out and about from here to hogwarts." I nodded "listen you can do this. Your stronger and brave like the trio. You'll be fine."

"Where are you going?" I asked

"I told you. Out and around. The school needs me. Good luck Ron, Harry, Hermione." And like that he apparated out of sight. A cool hand rested on my shoulder as I whipped around to find Demetrius.

"Nervous aren't we?" He smirked

"Well aren't you?" I raised my eyebrows as he nodded.

"You'll be fine. Your strong, tough and brave. You have quick reflexes-"

"Demetrius!" Abigail whined "your not supposed to be over there!"

"I'm coming." He rolled his eyes and then focused on me. "Show them what your made of." He weakly smiled as he made his way back to his group.

Soon everybody was leaving one by one until it was us 4 left.

"Hermione Granger." A voice spoke over the intercom as Hermione paled.

"I can't." She squeaked

"Course you can. Your Hermione Granger. The best witch of all time. " Harry hugged her

"You'll be fine." Ron bear hugged her "your strong and smart and quick."

I immediately hugged her as Hermione accepted the gesture gratefully.

"Remember whatever they give its not going to kill you. It's just a preparation for the games. "

She nodded as she headed in and afterward following Ron. It was me and Harry that were remaining.

"Harry Potter." The intercom called for the third time as Harry stood up.

"Good luck." He smiled weakly

"You too." I nodded as he disappeared increasing my nerves by the second.

"Stella Evans."

I numbly walked through the doors as the game makers awaited standing.

"Name." A cool bored voice asked with shoulder length blonde hair

"Stella Evans."

"Turn around and chose a portkeye ."

"Why?"

"Just chose!" He barked as I held on to a old boot. I found myself spinning and spinning until landed on the ground with a crunch.

"Ugh." I groaned as I looked at my surroundings of a lake. To the side was a table with a type of plant and a scroll.

In this water you will find what you cherish
Hurry now only one hour or they will perish.
Eat this plant as a helping tool
Now dive into the pool.
May be the odds be ever in your favor,
Game makers.

I quickly shoved the plant into my mouth trying not to gag at the taste. The clock began as I dove into the marshy lake.

What could be in the lake that I could cherish the most?
