"Taehyung, have you checked those scripts?"
"Yes, my love, I have."
"What about those over there?"
"I read them twice, my love."
"Alright, can you show me where you keep the testimonies from your great grandfather's time?"
"Yes, my love, they are right here-"
Taehyung got startled by Seokjin who suddenly banged the thick book in his hands onto the wooden table of the Lair.
"Would you stop calling me that!"
Seokjin glared at Taehyung to get his point through but it was not enough to intimidate his lover who returned his glower with a chuckle. Seokjin closed his eyes as Taehyung carded his fingers through Seokjin's dark hair. He sighed and buried his head into Taehyung shoulder.
"I'm sorry," he murmured against the expensive fabric of Taehyung's coat. He inhaled slowly, fogging his senses with Taehyung's natural fragrance to relax his mind.
"Don't worry, my Prince. I understand," Taehyung said soothingly. "I think we should take a break."
Taehyung detached Seokjin from himself and started to roll the opened scrolls and organise the scripts. Seokjin began sorting out the books into neat piles on the wide table. He bundled up the scripts and returned them to their respected places. He was about to keep the books in their shelves when he saw comedy unfold itself before him.
Taehyung balanced atleast nine thick books over his head and had nine others shaking on his hand. He was very slowly taking off a book from the tower and keeping them in the shelf. Suddenly there was a flash of dark brown past Taehyung's feet. Taehyung looked down to see what it was and shrieked, losing his balance and drowning himself into a pile of stone-heavy books.
Seokjin, biting his lips hard, shooed the cockroach away from Taehyung and began digging to retrieve his lover who was currently pretending to be dead.
"An insect, Taehyung! You're scared of an insect?" Seokjin said while trying his best not to laugh at Taehyung and hurt his feelings.
Taehyung continued to play dead, making Seokjin shake his head and sigh. His lover could be so childish at times. He picked up the books and placed them neatly in their positions. He sat down next to Taehyung and poked his cheeks.
"If you don't stop acting to be dead then maybe I'll go kiss Namjoon hyung." Seokjin teased.
Taehyung shot back up immediately with a horrified expression.
"You wouldn't dare."
"You never know," Seokjin said with a playful wink.
Taehyung made a whining noise and wrestled Seokjin to the ground, pining both of his hands above his head. He slowly lowered himself until his lips were right above Seokjin's tantalisingly delicious ones. His childish aura darkened into a much aroused one as he stared down at Seokjin who kept eye contact with equal vigour of want.
Taehyung smirked ever so slightly and Seokjin suddenly felt his body heating up and his breathing became weighed.
"What are you waiting for?" Seokjin whispered in a sultry tone, his lips brushing lightly with his lover's.
In reply, Taehyung smashed their lips together in a passionate kiss which soon turned into a filthy battle of tongues.
The Lair rumbled, indicating that one or more of Taehyung's brothers might have decided to visit. They weren't much bothered because they were residing at the furthest corner of the underground chambers where nobody usually came other than Namjoon and they were pretty sure the prince would turn away at the lewd noises. If they got caught making out by one of the brothers or even Jungkook and Hoseok, whom Seokjin had informed about his little relationship with Taehyung, the worst consequence would be being on the receiving end of endless teasing for a couple of days.
