At Hellsing Headquarters, Integra summons Eda to her office. She then shows Eda the footage of Hunter's resurrection.

Doctor(Footage): Our subject is a 20 year old male. Subject's name is Hunter. Time of death is approximately 22 hours ago. Cause of death is unknown.

Integra and Eda watch as Hunter sprang up and attacks the doctors in a frenzied rage. Hunter slaughtered the doctors and drank their blood without mercy. When the slaughter was over, Hunter regain his senses. He looked around at the scene with shock and horror.

Hunter(Footage): What...have I done?

Belos(Footage): You have taken your first steps into your new life, Hunter.

The footage then cuts to static.

Eda: Have we found anything on this kid?

Integra: We've found no crucial information on this individual other than his name.

Eda: So much for next of kin.

Integra: I'm more concerned with the other one.

Eda glances back to the other Vampire in the footage just before the footage cuts off. The Vampire was barely visible.

Eda: You think we got a big problem on our hands?

Integra: That remains to be seen, but I'm not taking any chances.

Eda: Can't say that I blame you.

As Eda says this, Integra finishes smoking a cigar. She expressed deep interest and concern for the Vampire in the footage. Those concerns were shared by Eda. After a moment of uneasy silence, Integra turns to Eda.

Integra: Captain Clawthorne, I am assigning Owl Squadron for the task of hunting down Hunter. I want your squadron to track down this Vampire and capture him. I want him brought here for questioning.

Eda: You sure that's a good idea?

Integra: There is considerable risk for this mission, but I know Owl Squadron will get the job done. For this mission, I'll be sending Seras to accompany you.

Eda: The Police Girl, eh? Heh. That ought to make things interesting.

Integra: May God and Her Majesty be with you.

Eda: Amen.

With that, Owl Squadron was given the assignment to hunt down Hunter. Meanwhile inside a training facility the members of Owl Squadron were training. Luz was practicing her swing with her baseball bat.

Gus: You know, I don't think I've seen anyone work a baseball bat like that. Except ballplayers maybe.

Luz: When you've lived out on the streets for as long as I have, you tend to pick up a few tricks.

Amity: It might work for a common thug or a Ghoul, but Vampires are something else entirely.

Luz: Well it certainly helps to have it lined up with silver.

Amity scoffs at Luz's preferred use of a baseball bat as opposed to a firearm.  Willow was quick to step in.

Willow: Be nice, Amity. If it works for her, it works for her.

Amity: It would be more practical for her to work on her firearms training. Charging at Vampires with a baseball bat is a good way to get yourself killed.

As Amity lectures Luz, Eda walks in. Immediately, the rest of Owl Squadron forms up.

Eda: At ease, Owl Squadron. We got ourselves one hell of a mission ahead of us. A few hours ago, a Vampire got resurrected inside a hospital and violently broke out. Now we got Vampire out and about.

Amity: So this is a standard track and eliminate?

Eda: No, Sgt. Blight. Sir Integra wants this Vampire brought here alive.

Upon hearing this, the members of Owl Squadron were confused at these new set of orders. Under most circumstances, the Hellsing Organization hunted and killed Vampires.

Luz: I thought we were in the business of killing Vampires.

Eda: Under most circumstances, you'd be right, kid. But Vampires don't just pop up out of nowhere. For ever newborn Vampire, there's another older and far more powerful Vampire out and about.

Luz: So we take out the Chief Vampire and we're good.

Eda: It won't be that easy, kid. Integra's convinced we got something big on our hands. And I'm inclined to believe her.

As Eda says this, Seras Victoria enters the room.

Eda: Seras.

Seras: Captain Clawthorne. Is your squadron ready?

Eda: Ready as they'll ever be.

Amity: If I may ask, how are we supposed to find Hunter? He could anywhere.

Eda: That's why we have Eda. While we look for him on the streets, Seras is gonna use her...magic on tracking him. Then it should only be a matter of tracking him and bring him to Integra.

With that, Owl Squadron began preparing for the mission. As they gathered their weapons and equipment, Luz spoke to her fellow Hellsing agents.

Luz: Seems kinda weird that we're trying to bring a Vampire in alive and not putting him in the ground.

Amity: While it's certainly odd, we have our orders. If Sir Integra wants this Vampire brought here alive, then that's what we'll do.

Willow: I'm gonna have to go with Luz on this one. Something's not right about this.

Amity: Once we get the information from Hunter, we can hunt his Maker and destroy him.

Gus: It does sound pretty straightforward.

Luz: I might not have been military, but I know when my gut is telling me something is off. And I've got a bad feeling about this.

As Luz says this, Eda gathers Owl Squadron besides their military vehicle.

Eda: We'll start off by going on a standard patrol. We'll wait for Seras to find a trail on Hunter. Once Seras gives us a holler, we'll zero in on Hunter's position and capture him. Understood?

Owl Squadron: Yes, Captain Clawthorne!

Eda: Good. May God and Her Majesty be with you.

Owl Squadron: Amen.

With that, Owl Squadron sets out on their mission to find and capture Hunter. But what they didn't know was that Luz's instincts would be proven correct as their mission would quickly become more complicated.
