After being given their task by Integra, Eda took Luz and Amity on their mission to meet up with Helena. The rest of Owl Squadron remained back at the Hellsing Manor. Soon enough, they approaches a rooftop apartment.
Eda: Okay, kid. Once we're inside, follow my lead. Don't do anything stupid.
Luz nods to Eda as she knocks on the door. A voice was soon heard.
???: Who is there?
Eda: Helena, this is Captain Clawthorne of the Hellsing Organization. May we come in? We just need to ask you a few questions. Just questions. Nothing more.
After a moment of silence, the door opens. The sound of classical music was heard as Eda leads Luz and Amity inside. Luz felt uneasy as she was entering a Vampire's home. They soon saw what appeared to be a pale faced girl with yellow eyes.
Amity: Good evening.
Luz: Y...yeah. Good evening.
Eda: Thank you for making time for us.
Helena: Normally I do not entertain, as I'm sure you know.
Eda: We are aware.
As Eda states this, Helena locks eyes with Luz. Luz immediately becomes uneasy.
Helena: You have nothing to fear, child. I am a very private individual and passive, both by inclination and ability. I am no threat.
Luz: S...sorry. It's not easy being around Vampires. Especially ones that aren't trying to kill me.
Eda: You'll have to forgive the kid. She's a new recruit.
Helena: Captain Clawthorne, you know of my desires to remain solitude. Now I must ask you, why do you insist on this harassment?
Eda: We're aware that you're a Vampire. While you're not exactly on the side of the angels, you're a member of a small cabal who don't....indulge on your vices so to speak. But recently, we've got another Vampire running around, lacking the morals and pride of you and your cabal.
Helena: Captain Clawthorne, through all my long years, can you imagine how many friends I've lost to your Hellsing club's butchery?
At this point, Luz steps forward.
Luz: And what about my mom?! I watched her get torn apart by Vampires when London was attacked! Look, I'm sorry about your friends, but don't you try to ignore our losses!
Helena: Millennium's Nazi horde were nothing more than.....mad men who sought to die setting the world in flames. They wanted to watch the world burn and die laughing.
Amity: I'm sorry.
Helena: Unfortunately, that apology is not yours to give.
Eda: Listen, we've come to talk to you about the dangers England faces. We may be facing the most dangerous threat since Millennium. Vampire attacks have increased and someone is pulling the strings. We're trying to figure out who's responsible for this.
Helena: This prattle wears on my patience. However, I will be willing to entertain this subject on the condition that you will allow me to return to my solitude.
Helena then begins walking to her chair and takes a seat.
Helena: These attacks have left no traces for you to follow and whatever leads you come across, they end up going nowhere.
Eda: That's the long and short end of it. Look, our interests align. We want this Vampire destroyed so no one else dies and you want this Vampire destroyed so you can remain in solitude. The way I see it, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Sir Integra's investigation on this Vampire has turned up the possibility that this Vampire is someone within your ranks.
Helena: Enough, Captain Clawthorne. We have no such cabal despite what you claim. We are individuals. We are free from land, country, religion, and all other petty forms of Human bondage. Eternity however is a tiring existence. I do not wish to leave my home. As old as I may be, I still have many books that I am looking forward to reading. Anybody who disturbs this, I do not count as a friend. Humans forget the nature of the world. They treat it as property. You must find the magna matter, the eve, the primordial mitochondria.
Luz: Sorry, but science was never my strong suit.
That comment earned a chuckle from Helena.
Helena: My point is that Man's will alone is not enough. Raw materials are necessary for any creation. To make a forgery, they must have an original to forge.
Luz: You mean an original Vampire?
Amity: Most likely the one we're looking for.
Helena: I've lived on this dark island for time out of mind. It's my home. No English Vampire is involved in this madness, for this I'm sure.
Eda: We understand.
Helena: Good evening, Captain Clawthorne. Miss Blight. Miss Noceda.
With that, Eda along with Luz and Amity began leaving Helena's home. Before they walked out the door, Helena spoke up to Luz.
Helena: Miss Noceda, I'm sorry about your mother. You have my deepest condolences.
Luz was taken aback by Helena's kindness. She simply nods and exits the home with Eda and Amity.
Luz: Well that went well.
Amity: We're no closer to finding out the mastermind behind these attacks. Do you think she's holding back on us?
Eda: Helena's many things, but a liar isn't one of them. She just wants to be left alone. Looks like we better let Sir Integra know about our....progress.
With that, Eda along with Luz and Amity made their way back to the Hellsing Manor to report back to Integra. Little did they know was that their meeting with Helena did not go unnoticed.
