
Third person's POV
She woke up from a restless sleep due to the rough waves to glimpse at the glowing and radiant sun peaking above the horizon out of my window. It extended its vivid light across the deep crimson sky.
"What do you want? " Kyra said in a sleepy tone
"Kyra? It's me! I need your help" Shan said
"What do you want Dumbass?" She groaned
"There's a game happening at the ground Please Aaja. I don't want to go alone" He pleaded
"Only if you agree to buy me popcorn and anything I ask " Kyra demanded.
"I just have 300 I can only try" Shan said
"What will we even get for 300? It's a bad idea , Bye" She said falling back on the bed.
"Your sister is going to be there too" He said
"Second reason why I shouldn't come" Kyra said
"You didn't get it ; Your sister is coming to cheer for her best friend : Veer " Shan said when Kyra immediately woke up.
"Oh I see, " She said running to the closet and checking for her sneakers
"What are you looking for Kyra? " Shan asked
"That Kriti... She stole my sneakers I'll kill her but for now I have a pair of converse shoes " She said putting them aside
"So you're in? "
"Of course dumbo go wait downstairs, And I'll be there in five minutes" She said Taking the clothes
She put on her favorite t shirt and her sisters matching jeans. Her converse shoes were the perfect match for the outfit.
Taking a sling bag she rushed downstairs.
"Maa, Our college is having a football game, I'm going, Shantanu is already waiting for me Bye" I said without listening to what she had to say.
"Let's go" I told him when he eyed me suspiciously.
"Fine chal" He said and we reached the college
"This is the day we've all been waiting for, The final match of the tournament where we the Martin's take on over the Xavier's College. The Crowd is roaring wild with excitement and here come the players" The host commentator Karan Jha announced
All the players of St Martin's walk out but one specific player caught Kyra's attention - Veer Kapoor.
"Next year I'll be standing there,playing the game" Shan said dreamily
"And I'll be getting my Filmfare award peacefully this time" She said.
"Sponsored by Vimal pan masala " Shantanu said bursting out into laughter.
"Chal jaa and get me my popcorn - the caramel waala" She said when Shan huffed and walked to the popcorn counter
"I like the way he's talking hey the way he's moving now I like the way they call him Kukkad kamaal.. "
Kyra kept humming the song until she bumped into someone she wouldn't want to.
"Kyra? "
"No autographs please" Kyra said
"Are you wearing my jeans? " She asked
"Are you wearing my sneakers? " Kyra asked in return
"What's the captain looking for? Or maybe he's looking for someone" Karan's voice stole the attention of both the sisters.
As they looked on Veer's eyes stopped at them.
He gestured something which Kyra obviously did not understand while Kriti did a similar one while Veer winked at them
"What did he say?" Kyra asked confused
"Caramel popcorn" Shan said coming out of no where
"Yuck who likes caramel popcorn? " Kriti said
"Shut up Kriti just because you don't have a good taste-"
"She has a weird taste... In everything" Shan said when Kyra nudged him
"What did he gesture? " Kyra asked Kriti curiously
"I told him I loved him" Kriti said in a careless tone
"What? "
"Obviously I wished him good luck" She said
"Oh yes I knew that, I was just confirming it" Kyra said
"Kriti... " Veronica called her from the first row of seats.
"VIP treatment" Kyra muttered to herself
"Shan? You said you wanted to get into the team right? " Kriti asked him
Shantanu nodded.
"Come watch the game with us, you'll get a better view from the front row" Kriti suggested when he excitedly agreed
"And where do I go? " Kyra asked
"To get your filmfare" Shan said and Began walking
"You can join us if you're interested" Kriti offered when Kyra followed her.
Soon the game ended with Martin's winning the game.
"What a game" Meera said hugging Arjun.
Manav Kept talking to Shantanu while Veer walked up to the sisters
"Wow. You were just amazing out there" Kyra said in an excited tone
"I didn't know you loved football so much.. I mean I didn't know you took sports so seriously" Kriti said
"Everyone loves the game Kriti and so do they love me" Veer said winking.
Kriti shrugged.
He moved forward and hugged her
"Everyone might love me but guess whom I love? " He said not letting go of her as everyone began cheering.
"Veer, you're so good with PDA I'm going to make a reel on both of you next" Veronica said
"And I'll share it" Meera said sarcastically.
"Yeah sab log share karna, and you both too, follow me on Instagram, My username is @haaye_garmi" Veronica said when Kyra cringed internally in her mind.
"So tum sab party mein aa rahe ho na" Veer asked and everyone nodded.
"Haan woh sab theek hai but Anaisha kahan hai" Manav asked
"She.. She's with Jai" Veer said Hesitating
"Man, you should stop her, he's an idiot, He's obsessed with Anaisha, he doesn't love her" Manav said while Veer shrugged
"You know how she talks about love, God knows who broke her heart, she just stays stuck in the past man.. Anyway gotta rush have to clean up the house a bit" Veer said as he held Kriti's hand.
"Please be there" He requested.
She nodded.
"See you'll bhai log, Bye Kyra" He said when Kyra excitedly waved back to him.
"Kyra, I'm going over to Meera's place, You can come with us or go home, the choice is yours" Kriti said as all the guys including Shan had left.
Kyra simply nodded. Unlike Veronica or Anaisha, Meera was very friendly to the Malhotra's, probably because she was dating their cousin but at least the sisters felt comfortable with some girl of the group
None of them were aware of the storm that had just begin brewing in their lives.
