Okay, I lied. My world hadn't come to a hault just yet. But now it had.

Brooke's POV:

I giggled and hugged the guys back. "Yeah, about that, my parents said yes the very first time he asked them... My mom's in the back with all of yours." I smiled deviously. Dana's mouth hung wide open and he ran to the back room where the moms were and peeked in. He walked back with his eyes narrowed. "Okay, why didn't you tell us?" he demanded. Cole wrapped his arms around my tiny waist and I smiled. "We wanted to make it a surprise." Cole said. "Did it work?" I smiled.

All the guys nodded except Dalton. "Why aren't you acting all surprised, Dalton?" Gabe asked. Dalton smirked and looked at Madison. "Dalton and I knew about it." Madison said with a grin spreading across her face. "We were at Brooke's house having a movie night with them and we over heard them talking about it." Dalton added.

"Well, I'm glad you're here, Brooke." Will said. I smiled. "Thanks, I am too. I can't wait to see what crazy things you guys do." I said. We all sat around and goofed off most of the day. We stopped for lunch somewhere in Nebraska. We all ran off the bus towards the McDonald's right across from us.

Cole bought our food and we sat down with Dalton and Madi. "So once we get to the venue we'll have to set up and rehearse. Why don't you and Madi go shopping and get something pretty to wear tonight?" Cole said glancing at us with his mouth full. Madi and I looked at each other and started laughing. "Babe, don't talk with your mouth full. It's disgusting." I laughed. "I agree with your girlfriend. It's disturbing." Madi added. We finished our food and got back on the bus. We drove for a few more hours and finally stopped at the venue. Cole handed me some money and told me to go find Madi.

We shopped for 2 hours and returned 3 hours before show time to begin getting ready. Obviously, the boys were already ready considering their meet and greet started in an hour. We fixed our hair and put our makeup on while the boys were around. I simply straightened my hair and put one of Cole's grey beanies on. I put on smokey eye shadow and black eyeliner with black mascara. I looked over and saw Dalton doing Madi's eyeliner. "He insisted." was all she said. A small giggle escaped my mouth. "Hey, don't laugh! I do it better than you do." Dalton snapped playfully. "He's ratchett." Dana said underneath his breath. "UGH! I HATE THAT WORD!" Cole groaned as he walked into the room. We all laughed. "Ha. Ha. Laugh it up." Cole said before walking over to me. "Hello, gorgeous." He smiled down at me. "Hey!" I replied cheerfully. "Is that what you're wearing tonight?" Cole asked, a confused look spreading across his face. I had on a pair of soffie shorts, a black t-shirt, and black converse on. "No, we're just waiting for all of you to leave before we change into our concert outfits." I said looking over at Madi. She nodded her head in agreement. "STOP MOVING IF YOU WANT THIS TO LOOK GOOD!" Dalton screeched. Madi and I both giggled at him.

The guys went to the meet and greet and Madi and I started getting changed into our concert outfits.  http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=73456756    Madi's was sweet and pretty, and mine was edgy. That's just how different we are. The guys came back in just as we finished getting ready. "Whoa, you look hott babe." Dalton said to Madi. She did her adorable little giggle before wrapping her arms around his neck. I watched as all the guys came in, except Cole. "Where's my boyfriend?" I asked. "Uhh, he's on the phone." Dana said. Gabe immediately slapped the back of his head. "Idiot, she's not suppossed to know." he whispered. "What?" I asked. "Why can't she know he's on the phone?" Dana asked. "Because of who he's talking to idiot!" Will piped up. "HEY!" I yelled. They all looked at me. "Who's he talking to?" I asked, my voice trembling as I spoke. The guys looked at each other. "Fine, I'll find out myself." I said before storming out of the room.

"Yeah, Cassidy, I know. But I mean, I have a girlfriend now. I can't just get back together with you now because you've decided you're tired of our break. We were broken up for 2 months. How was I suppossed to know that you'd actually want to get back together?" I heard Cole say. My whole world immediately came crashing to a hault. He didn't hear me and I was going to take advantage of that. I stood there silently listening to what he had to say. "Cass, if I had of known you were going to want to get back together, I never would have asked her out." Okay, I lied. My world hadn't come to a hault just yet. But now it had. I dropped my phone and he turned arond, shocked to see me standing there. "No, no, no, no. Brooke, let me explain." he said. I just started running, as far and as hard as my feet would carry me. I ran for a while with him hot on my trail, but I out-ran him. I ran to a park and sat on a bench, thinking.

I heard footsteps behind me. "Go away, Cole. I don't want to talk." I said, wiping my eyes of all the tears. "It's not Cole." I heard Madi's voice say. I turned and saw her looking down at me. "Cassidy. He was talking to Cassidy. He told her that if he knew she was going to want to get back together, he wouldn't have asked me out. Then he expected me to stand there and listen to him explain how nothing he's felt has been real and that he was just lonely and needed some one to fill Cassidy's void. Well, I'm not that girl. I'm not going to be his back-up plan, Madi." I said all at once.

"He doesn't expect you to be. He's in there crying his eyes out right now. He was just telling her all that to shut her up. I promise. He only has eyes for you, Brooke. You have no clue. As soon as you lost him, he came running back with tear stains all over his face. He loves you. He really, really does." Madi said. I thought for a second. "He's always been a good actor. He wasn't acting with Cassidy though. I know his 'I'm just gunna go along with you to shut you up' voice and that wasn't it Madison." I replied. She shook her head.

"Cassidy knows it, too. That's why he had to use his real voice. She knows him like a book. He knew if she recognized the voice, she would have kept agging this on. Brooke, you've gotta believe me." She said sitting down next to me. I sighed. "I don't know."
