Brooke's POV:
I left the Lynch house after a while and went home. I grabbed my laptop and laid down on my bed. I typed in my password and scrolled through my twitter. I had a new mention from Cole.
ColeIM5: Hey, @brookelovesyew we passed Graceland today in Memphis, TN and I thought of you. lol #ElvisFreak #missyou
I smiled. He could always make me smile, even when we aren't together. I love him, and I really want to be with him, but things have gotten more complicated now. I mean, a few hours ago, I kissed Ross Lynch. Ross knows that I still love Cole and that there is a very huge possibility that we will get back together when he comes home, but I still feel awful about possibly hurting him.
My phone began ringing and I reached out to grab it. Cole. I smiled and clicked answer. "Hey." I said as I answered. "Hey, beautiful. How are you?" his voice rang through my ears. I giggled. "I'm fine. How are you, sweet boy?" I said. I could tell he had me on speaker phone by what I heard next. "OOOH, SWEET BOY!" the boys echoed. I laughed. "Do you seriously have me on speaker phone right now?" I asked. I heard Cole chuckle. "Maybe? Okay, yes. The guys wanted to hear your voice. They miss you like crazy." he said. "EXCEPT FOR ME!!!" I heard Dalton yell. I laughed. "Thanks, Dalton. I love you, too. I don't miss you either. I miss Madi, though!" I said sweetly. I talked to the guys for another hour or so then we hung up.
I love them and I miss them. Mainly, I miss Cole. I would give anything for none of this to have ever happened. Cole gets back in 2 weeks. I'm nervous, yet very excited.
*************2 WEEKS LATER*************
I was standing outside the Lynch house talking to Rocky and Ross. Today was the day. Today was the day that Cole would be home. I would go home and see him sitting on his balcony waiting on me to come outside. Everything would be back to normal. I was scared and nervous, but I was also very excited to see him. Ross and I decided we were just going to stay friends. He actually has a girlfriend now. They're precious.
I hugged Ross and Rocky and started my walk home. I got to my house and looked across the street. His car was there, but he wasn't on the balcony like he said he would be. Maybe he was just as nervous to see me as I was to see him. I walk inside my house and up to my room. I open the door and I immediately burst into tears. There were rose petals all over my room. On my bed, there was a giant teddy bear holding a note. I picked the note up and carefully read it.
"Meet me in the park. 9:00. Don't be late. It's a surprise ;) Love you, beautiful! -Cole"
I smiled to myself and looked at the time. 8:15. I got ready and walked out the door. I got to the park right at 9:00. I looked around, but I couldn't see anyone. Then I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around, expecting to see Cole, but instead I saw my bestfriend from Florida!
"Becca!! What are you doing here?!" I screamed, pulling her into a hug. She hugged me back and laughed.
"Cole bought me a ticket to come see you. He said he thought you needed bestfriend time." she said. I smiled to myself. I grabbed her hand and started tugging her back to my house. Instead of running to my house though, I ran across the street to Cole's. I flung the door open and ran upstairs to Cole's room with Becca right behind me. I opened his door and saw him out on the balcony looking over at my house. I walked over to the balcony door and slid it open.
He turned around and looked at me. "You're supposed to be at the park. There's a surpr-"
I cut him off. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his lips with all the excitement and passion I could muster. I caught him off guard, but he quickly began kissing back. He wrapped his arms around my tiny waist and I could tell he was smiling through the kiss. I was happy to be back in his arms. We pulled apart and he looked at me.
"That was a heck of a welcome back." he smirked. I smiled at him.
"I love you." I said. He smiled. "I love you, too." he replied.
So, there's mine and Cole's story. No matter what obstacles we went thru, we over came them in the end. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love him to the moon and back a million times over. Somehow, thru everything, I found I can't stay away.
