Gerry Anderson's New Captain Scarlet: Next Generation originated from a previous Century 22 production; Thunderbirds 2086/Thunderbird Of Remnant: Terror Beneath Argus City. Having produced a crossover for Kieron's original characters, @kieron0103 owns the Thunderbird Of Remnant, fellow Gerry Anderson fan and good friend of mine @HowlingMadMayhem asked about doing a story based on her OCs. Once again, I was delighted to organise a crossover for Mayhem. Having already done an OC for a fellow writer based around Thunderbirds, I decided to base this OC around another Gerry Anderson series Mayhem has based her OCs around - Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. Or rather, Gerry Anderson's New Captain Scarlet, the 2005 CGI remake of the cult classic TV series which Anderson oversaw under his own supervision. Mayhem has decided to base her OCs of both Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet based on the remakes of both franchises; New Captain Scarlet and Thunderbirds Are Go!. As such, I will be writing a new New Captain Scarlet story based on her OCs at the forefront of the story. Those OCs belong to her and not with Century 22 Productions, but have been used under request to produce this exciting story. The episode was originally titled before writing as The Prion Mutelox or Prion Mutelox, but I did not feel this was a very New Captain Scarlet style of title. As such, the story is titled Next Generation as the new Spectrum recruits take to task a deadly challenge to save humanity once again from the Mysteron menace from Mars...
