Scene 5 - Hunt

We then continue seeing the Angels flying over the forestry before we cut inside to Destiny Angel's Interceptor once again. Captain Scarlet's voice is heard on her radio.

Destiny:

Angel Leader calling Scarlet, we have circled the area time and time again, and we are unable to pinpoint the exact position of the Prion Mutelox.

Captain Scarlet:

Are you certain he is still in the area?

Destiny:

Affirmative. He's definitely there. But the woods within a five mile radius of the research base reads nothing but the same amount of exposure of background radiation about.

We cut to the two Rhinos and Cheetah car with Captains Scarlet and Blue outside with their mics swung down.

Captain Blue:

At least background radiation isn't deadly to us.

Captain Scarlet:

Maybe. But it makes the task of hunting this Prion Mutelox much more difficult.

Captain Blue:

Lieutenant Navy is staying inside the complex hoping he can get the computer to help track the background radiation.

Captain Scarlet:

As the research base is the source of the symbiotic fluid, it might key onto its trace. Nice thinking.

Captain Blue:

Well if this Mysteron Mutelox thing wanted to use this establishment for whatever purpose, why is it trying to run away?

Captain Scarlet:

Maybe we will find out when we track it down, Adam.

Eliza, Daniel, and Zara hurry out.

What's the plan?

Lieutenant Crimson:

Calum might give us directions if he can track the Prion Mutelox.

Lieutenant Aqua:

For now. We spread our forces out as far as we can.

Captain Scarlet:

I will stay behind in one of the Rhinos keeping tabs of the assignment.

Captain Blue:

Ok. I'll come and join in on the search. What had you in mind for the search?

Lieutenant Crimson:

Well... we divide our forces... some of us go North, South, East, and West. The Angels keep monitoring the position of the radiation and try to hunt them from the sky.

Lieutenant Aqua:

Or we could start by a small radius and extend outwards?

Lieutenant Violet:

Yeah. That's it. The Angels fly about still as Zara suggested, and then we extend our radius. Some of us go North, and some of us go South to begin with.

Captain Blue and Lieutenant Violet rush to a Rhino. Zara and Daniel hurry to the Cheetah. Zara and Daniel set off in the Cheetah, whereas Captain Blue and Lieutenant Violet get comfortable in the Rhino.

Guess I'm driving.

The Rhino starts, but the Rhino reverses backwards and stalls! Captain Blue keeps quiet, yet annoyed.

He, he, he, he. Whoops.

The Rhino then accelerates forward, following after the Cheetah, but driven unsteadily by Eliza out of the drive into the forest. In the woods, the Prion Mutelox continues to struggle in fighting his dual personality. We see him staggering through the woods, fearful and dangerous. His blotchy skin continues pulsating. An Angel zooms past lowly, disturbing the Prion Mutelox's concentration from the huge noise. His modulated voice cries out as he collapses to the ground.
