After the convention ended and some pictures from the official PeopleCon Twitter account were launched, including pictures of Lana and Sean kissing, their Instagram was basically broken. Lana could only use her keep it Regal account to go through her daily dose of artworks, whilst Sean just disconnected completely since the app was overloaded with massages and his phone was too old to process that amount of data at once.

They reunited with the kids the day they returned to England, talking about all the great adventures they had with their grandparents before it was time to fly back to Vancouver.

It was quite stressful since the kids had to pick up on some school stuff, and Lana and Sean needed to prepare their homeschooling sessions since they would pay their families in LA a visit in one week.

Whilst everyone was at school, it was time for the adults to catch up on cleaning the house and doing laundry, in addition to getting everything ready for their next trip. That was the part that didn't feel like a 'holiday' at all.

They decided to book a flight for the upcoming Monday, which was the 15th of May already. Means half of their break was already gone but at least they spent their time useful.

It would be the first time that Lana's family will actually meet Sean and his kids she called her own for a while now. She was pretty sure that they would melt everyone's heart straight away. Starting with Lana's mom and aunt Candy.

To lower the level of stress a little, Amélie and Lana decided to bake cookies whilst Flynn, Leo and Sean had a secret mission going on that had to be properly planned without the knowledge of the black-haired woman.

"We need the yellow cup, Amélie.", Lana told her stepdaughter, who was standing on a high baby proof step letter to help around the kitchen, since she and Flynn loved it.

"That?", She questioned, giving Lana the green one, but corrected herself just seconds later by reaching for the yellow.

"Yeah. The yellow one. Thank you.", the woman chuckled, making Amélie giggle since she was proud to be able to help her mom.

"Tan you!", she repeated with a laugh, which made Lana chuckle.

"No, you say 'you're welcome!'", her stepmother grinned, making Amélie look at her in confusion. 'Your welcome' seemed too hard to say for her.

"Alright, sweetie. We need two yellow cups of sugar.", Lana read, holding the open package for Amélie to scoop it up. Her chubby fingers managed to fill the cup halfway before she poured it into the big bowl in front of her. "Oh, that was only half one. If you're doing half ones, we will need 4 okay? Do you think you can count?", Lana asked.

"One.", Amélie loudly confessed, pointing at the bowl before looking at her mother for reassurance. The woman nodded proudly, letting Amé scoop up another one, even though half of the sugar landed on the floor. Something she was happy to clean since baking was helping her toddler so much with getting control of her own motoric skills. Scooping and pouring was especially hard work and took some time to learn. "Two.", she announced, putting all the sugar into the bowl. "four", "five.", she said with a grin.

"Yeah four scoops that's right but you counted to five because you forgot the three!", Lana laughed sweetly. "Oopsy daisy", she chuckled.

"Oopsy daisy.", Amélie repeated with a laugh, covering her mouth with her hands.

"Next time. Don't Worry. Ehmm… we will need two eggs now. Can you grab them and be gentle?", Lana asked.

"I dunno! Gentle.", Amé said, placing two eggs in front of her mom. "one, two.", she counted.
