29| Where I Belong

"Alright. Let's tell Grandma and Grandpa that we are having....?"

"A Baby!!", Leo laughed

"Exactly.", Sean chuckled. "Are you nervous?", He smirked, looking at Lana who simply nod her head. 'nervous' was even an understatement. Her mind was blurry and her stomach twisted immensely.

"One second.", Lana said suddenly, running to the bathroom with her hand covering her mouth only to make it to the closet bin before throwing up.

"Ewww.", Leo commented, whilst Sean was hurrying to Lana's side but got restricted from her by simply disappearing into the bathroom for some privacy.

It didn't take her long to gather her breath but she was more than exhausted after that kind of day. Starting with work in the morning, the ultrasound, some food shopping, and collecting all the kids. And since they were too excited they couldn't wait until tomorrow by telling their parents.

"Sorry.", she said when she returned to the living room. "I honestly feel like it's getting worse for me with symptoms even though I thought they should be lighter after the first trimester..."

"Well... You nearly didn't even show symptoms during your first one. They were very very mild already. They might catch up to you now. I don't know.", Sean said.

"I hope not. Really...", Lana chuckled. "I feel literally bloated. I don't know why but I feel like I am always bloated in the evenings. In the morning I have a perfectly flat stomach... But now at the end of the day, it's like--"

"A bump?", Sean chuckled. "Yeah, I recognized it as well. That's how it was with Amèlie. And at one point the little curve started to stay all day.", he grinned.

"Is that the baby?", Flynn asked, gently pointing at Lana's stomach after following their conversation.

"I think it is...", she chuckled with a peaceful smile. "I can't wait to meet it.", she whispered, placing her hand on her slightly swollen abdomen before sitting down with the rest of her family again.
"What I just realized, Sean. We can't call your parents now. They will be asleep... We need to call them tomorrow morning."

"right...", Sean sighed. "I totally forgot because of how excited I am. Well then we will call your mum first...and we could tell the cast tomorrow morning if you're alright with coming to work for a few minutes. You're off tomorrow.", Sean figured.

"That's alright. I can some. I told Bex today and she was over the moon.", Lana chuckled, already searching for her mom's icon on face time, before placing the tablet down on the table for everyone to see when it was ringing.

"Lana?", Dee chuckled since she wasn't aware of any call today, placing her phone on the kitchen counter to have a  proper view.

"Nanny!", Amèlie yelled straight away with a grin before everyone could say loudly hello in sync

"Hey, my favorite princess. You look gorgeous today.", she smiled. "How have you been?", she asked.

"Nanny baby!", Amè said.

"Huh? Did you play with your baby today? That sounds like fun.", Dee smiled.

"Nooo!!", Leo laughed, already giggling because his grandma didn't understand.

"Look.", Flynn added, trying to show the Ultrasound picture in the camera. "You see that?? That's our brother or sister. The baby is in Lana's tummy!", he grinned.

Dee immediately froze, focusing on Lana's facial expression. "Like... You're pregnant, baby?", she asked with tears in her eyes, whilst Lana looked at her with the same look on her face.
