The Acheing Heart: Lance x Keith

LANCE!!!!!!

Lance's P.O.V

I kept following Keith to the Galra base. When we get there, we knock out one of the guards by the entrance. When we opened the door, we were brought to an elevator. We use the min computer to navigate to Acxa holding cells.

She was on the 5th floor. When we get there, she's chained to the wall and covered in bruises. "Acxa," Keith says, opening her cell and unchaining her.

"K-Keith," she says, barely conscious. Keith picks her up braided style. As we walk out of her cell, the alarm goes off. We run to the exit. When we get to the exit, there are gunshots from behind us.

We go behind a big metal box. We both pull out our bayards. We shot back, but there were too many of them. "Keith, you and Acxa go, I'll cover you," I say. Keith picks Acxa back up and runs to the elevator with her.

I shot and went to the elevator. When I get there, the Galra have all of us at gunpoint. "Surrender!" One of them said. They have us surrounded, if you try to escape we're done for. Keith and I put our bayards down.

They start walking towards us, I throw a bayard in the elevator and hit the emergency button. The elevator doors shut. "LANCE NO-!" Keith yelled as the doors shut. One of them shot, hitting me in the arm. I screamed in pain. I started bleeding out, The Galra grabbed me and threw me into a cell.

(Lance throw has bayard to Keith, so the Galra can't use it to track Keith or steal the teach)

Keith's P.O.V

"LANCE NOO". When the guards start walking towards us, Lance gets me his bayard and hits the emergency button on the outside of the elevator, trapping him with the Galra. When the doors shut, I hear a gunshot and Lance screaming in pain.

The elevator started moving, and we got to the last floor, the exit. Acxa tries getting up but falls back down. I don't know what to do, Acxa needs medical help fast, but I can't just leave Lance in there. "Keith," Acxa says in a low tone. I pick her up and run back to Red. I take off my helmet, and I call Shiro and Allura as I get the first aid kit for Acxa.

Shiro's P.O.V

Allura and I had just gotten done with our mission when we got another call from Keith and Lance. We answered and saw Keith with a first aid cit and Acxa on the floor of the Lion covered in bruise and blood.

"Acxa?" I say confused."What is it?" Allura says, concerned. "It's Lance," Keith says worriedly. "What happened?!" I ask worriedly. Keith tells Allura and me everything.

After hearing everything, I add Pidge and Hunk. "Hey, what's up? We just got done," Hunk says."we're on our way back to the castle now," Pidge says as they turn on the camera and see Keith and Acxa. We tell them everything.

Keith's P.O.V

After telling everyone what happened, they said it would get them a while to get here, but they tried to get here as fast as possible. After healing Acxa and getting off the call with Shiro and them,

I sit next to Acxa on the floor. "I'm sorry, Keith," Acxa says. "It's not your fault, it's mine," I say into my knees. "He warned me about going in there,... but of course, I didn't listen," I say.

"You like him, don't you?" Acxa says,"Well, of course, he's a good friend and paladin, he-" "No, I mean you have fell for him," Acxa says.

I start blushing like crazy. "Uh, well-." Acxa just nods and laughs. "I need to get him back," I say. "Go get him," Acxa says. "I have to wait for the others,... if I rust in again, who knows what could happen to Lance," I say, looking at the floor.

Lance's P.O.V

The Galra chained me up in Acxa's cell. I'm chained by the wrist, in the middle of the cell by the roof. I'm on my tip toes. One of them put something on my arm to stop the bleeding from the gunshot.

The Galra opened my cell door, and about five of them came into my cell. "Where are they?" The leader (not Zarkon, someone he put in charge of the base) asks."Where are who?" I ask.

He mosses one of them towards me. He walks in front of me, and he pulls out a knife. He stabs my thigh, I scream in pain. He walks away with the knife still in my thigh.

The leader walks in front of me, putting his hand on the knife, adding pressure. He starts moving the knife, digging it deeper into my leg. I hiss in pain. "I won't ask again," He says, digging in deeper. "Go to hell!" I yell. He pulls out the knife, and the blood starts running down my leg. The leader gives the knife back to one of them. "Do whatever you want to him... but DON'T kill him, get as much information as you can out of him," the leader says as he walks out of the cell and room.

They started cycling me. One of them kicked the back of my knee. I buckled my leg because I'm just barely touching the floor I'm now hanging. Another one punched my hip. I scream in pain.

"Talk!!" "Screw you!!!" I yell back. This goes on for about 20 minutes when they walk out, but not before they stab my hip and leave the knife on my side. Every time I move, I can feel it. It hurts so bad, I need to get it out.

I look up at the chains, I see how they are chained to the wall, I see that there's a latch on the roof, and that's how they're staying. I grab the chains and start climbing up them. I get to the roof and unlatch the chains. The weight of the chain pulls me back down.

I pull out the knife from my side. The chains are still on my wrists, I use the knife to pick the lock. I go over to the cell door, the doors unlocked. I put my ear to the door, and I don't hear anyone. I opened the door, but no one's there.

I walk to the elevator, and I'm bleeding out. I hit the elevator button, and after a while, the door opens, but a Galra soldier is in the elevator. He is surprised to see me. He shoots me with a stun gun.

The next thing I see is being in a different cell. I'm not a chain, I look at my stabs wounds, someone packets them up. I try to stand up, but I can't.

"I just hope Keith made it out," I say to myself as I close my eyes. I hear the door open and immediately sit up and open my eyes. I see a Galra woman. She has a first aid kit with her.

I don't say anything as she sits next to me and opens the kit. She hands me a small note as she redoes the packets on my leg and side. 'My name is Sakura, I'm with the Blade of Marmora, I need to know your name and where I can find someone to help so I don't blow my cover,' I read the note in my head.

I turn my face away from the door and mumb. "How do you know you're not lying?" "Because if I was, I wouldn't know the Red Paladin leave Voltron to go with my Blade of Marmora for a little while and that he's half Galra," She mumbles back, leaving me a little stocked.

"My name is Lance, The Red Paladin is hiding in the forest, west of here about half a mile," I mumb, and she nods. After packeting up my wounds, she's leaves, 'I hope I didn't just do something that'll put Keith in danger, but I don't think she would know all that if she wasn't in the Blade of Marmora'.
