The Acheing Heart: Lance x Keith

HELP!!!!!!

Keith's P.O.V

Lance pushes me out of the way. Lotor stabs Lance in his lower stomach. "LANCE NOOOO!!!!!" I yell as Lance coughs up blood. I go to him and catch him before he hits the floor.

I put my hand on his wounds. "Come on," I say. "My bad, I was trying to stab you," Lotor says, laughing. I get so angry, my eyes turn yellow-ish orange-ish, and I can feel fangs grow.

I grab my sword and launch at him. He is surprised. As we fight, we hear an explosion. Matt and some others run into the room. 'Thank god,' I think.

I stab Lotor in his stomach. He falls back, and some Galra soldiers go to him. They run out of the room with him. "Don't let him escape," Matt says. I run to Lance, "Come on, please, Lance," I say.

Matt and Sakura come to us. "We need to get him to the castle," Matt says. I nod, and Matt helps me carry him outside. As we wait outside, I close my eyes and try bringing red to us.

Matt and I get Lance outside. We see some of the rebels getting Acxa out of Red. We get Lance inside and set him down in a chair. Matt goes to a different ship, I call the castle as I go full bast back to the castle.

Allura picks up, and her eyes wind as she sees Lance. "Oh no," Pidge says as the others go to the control panel. "We're on our way back, get a pod ready fast!!" I yell and hang up.

I put Red in auto pilot and go to Lance. I grab the first aid kit. I try to stop the bleeding. "Keith,... Keith...," "save your breath," I say. "No, Keith, I... I have to tell... tell you something," Lance says.

"Save it for when you're better," I say. "Keith, I... I... I really... really love you," Lance says blinking out of curiosity. I freeze, I don't know what to say. "Lance, I love you too," I say.

Lance smiles at me before eyes closing his eyes. "No, Lance, please, come on, please stay with me," I say. He opens his eyes. "Come on, please, we're almost there. Just stay with me," I say, trying to stop the bleeding.

Allura's P.O.V

After Keith called us, we started preparing a pod. 'Please get here soon, Lance,' I think. I see on the sonar the Red Lion.

Everyone runs to the cargo hold, and Shiro helps me bring a medical bed for Lance. When we get there, Keith is carrying Lance out of Red. We run to Keith, and he sets Lance down on the bed.

We quickly go to the medical room. Coran helps us set him in the pod. I start running numbers to know how bad the wounds are. I focus on his main stab wound, his stomach.

"Everyone, we need to wait outside while the princess helps Lance," Caran says. They all go outside but still look through the window. As I run the numbers, Lance's pod starts flashing red, and an alarm goes off.

He's going into cardiac arrest (if some of you don't know what that's, it means a sudden, sometimes temporary, cessation of function of the heart). I quickly stabilize him.

After running some more numbers and focusing the pod to heal his wounds, I walk out of the room. "How is he?" Hunk asks."I've done all I can. You'll have to leave it to the pod," I say. I look over to Keith. He looks the most worried of all. He's covered in blood. It's Lance's. "Keith, you should go get clean up," I say. He doesn't say anything. He just walks away.

Keith's P.O.V

I didn't go to the changing room and just grab my clothes and to the bathroom. When I get there, I look at myself in the mirror. I'm covered in Lance's blood.

On my face, arms, and legs, I don't know what to say or do. I jump in the shower, I just think about everything that happened, replaying everything that happened in my head as the blood from my face runs down my body.

I remember how Lance told me not to go and how he was captured. I get out of the shower and get dressed. I stand in front mirror, 'This is all my fault, why didn't I just listen to Lance when he told me to wait' I think.

I get so mad as I look at myself. I bit my lip and clutch my fist. My lips start blooding. As I look at myself, I get angrier and angrier. I punch the mirror. I punch it again and again. I hear the door open, but I don't look.

I keep punching the mirror. Shiro grabs my hand and stops me. He looks scary, I claim down a little, I look at my hand, it's all blooding with shards of mirror in it. I look at the mirror. It's completely broken with blood on it.

"Sorry, Shiro," I say. "Are you ok?" He asks. "Yeah," "What happened?" Shiro asks. I don't say anything and just look away. "Come on, let's go to Allura," Shiro says. We go to Allura, and she starts wrapping my hand.

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asks."No," I say, looking at Lance in the pod. "Does it have something to do with Lance?" I ask. I look at her surprised, "you haven't taken your eyes off him," she says, laughing a little.

"Yeah," I say, blushing. She doesn't say anything, I just look at her blushing. "He... he... he told me how he feels," I say, blushing. She just laughs. "What??? Did he tell you how he felt?" I ask. "No, but it was pretty obvious, that includes your feelings," She says.

I start blushing even more. 'I have strong feelings for Lance, but if all this happened because of me, I can't put Lance in any more danger,' I think.
