It's the first day of the week and you just have a good feeling that it will be a great day today.

Ever since you woke up at 6 AM to prepare for another day of work, you had a giant smile on your face.

While walking to the bank where you work as a bank teller, you sighed while stretching your arms, "This is gonna be the best day ever!"

You stopped your feet as you stumbled upon your one and only "boss" who goes by the name Mikey. You screamed inside your head while simply gazing at him, peeking from behind a phone box.

'He's so attractive and so good-looking and strong and tough!'

Koko, your friend back in high school until now, glanced at you with his sharp eyes. He ended his conversation with his boss, Mikey, then he approached you.

"Y/n. Y/n!" Koko shouted as he shook your shoulders to wake you up from your fantasies.

→ cue in the chorus of "Mr. Kupido" sped up

"Mikey..." you said with your melting heart shaped eyes, still staring at your boss.

Mikey then looked at you, smiling happily, and he ran to you in slow motion calling your name aloud repeatedly.

→ stop music

"Ouch!" you blurted out as you felt someone slap your face. "Koko..? Wh-What happened? Wasn't Mikey- the boss coming.. towards me?"

"Idiot Y/n, you know he won't come to you like a prince charming. He won't even make eye contact with you and will you please stop calling him boss? I'm your boss. Not him! You don't even work under boss Mikey." Koko answered with no sugarcoating on his words.

"Ugh! You could've went easy on me with that slap, Koko..." you said, rubbing your slightly red cheek.

"Enough with your drama. Go to work already or do you want to be fired?" he responded, smirking so evil.

"Ok ok! I'm on it. I guess I'll just wait for another chance to talk to Mikey."

"Keep your hopes up but just know that you will never have that chance. Ever. Bye, Y/n!" Koko left with an evil grin flashed on his face.

"Tch. That Koko! He just can't accept that he'll never get a girlfriend." you rolled your eyes as you murmured.

You were about to go inside but someone tapped your shoulder, catching your attention. "Uh.. Y/n?"

"Hmm? Oh, Inupi! Haha! You're late. Koko will for sure punish you." you laughed.

"Aren't you late as well? Anyways, I saw Mikey leaving just a second ago. Won't you uhm.. follow him?" Inupi wondered, holding eye contact while showing his innocent smile.

"Uh.. well. What about-!"

Inupi cut you off and said, "I'll cover for you though, Koko will just find out about it sooner or later."

"Thanks, Inupi! You're really the best!" you shouted as you tightly hugged him from happiness.

Inupi coughed, "Y/n! Y/n, you're choking me!"
