Your eyes slowly open as you hear a kid speaking loudly.

Uh.. Koko, where are we?

You find yourself back at the orphanage where you stayed until you were 10 years old.

H-Huh..?! Why are we here? Koko? Inupi?

They weren't anywhere to be found close to where you are so you decided to wander around the place.

A few minutes of walking, there goes again the voice of a boy. It sounded like he's talking to someone. You followed that voice then hid behind a wall.

Hey! I know a fun game to play! Let's play Hide and Seek. You're the seeker and I'm the hider!

You saw the kid speaking was Izana but it was the kid version and Kakucho's too. They were chatting just like from before.

"Y/n, wake up already! We're here." Koko said, shaking you hard by the shoulders.

"Koko? You're here! I was finding.. you." you woke up then it hit you in the head, it was all just a peaceful dream.

"You're dreaming again, Y/n. Inupi's already inside with your stuff. Let's go." he waited for you to get outside the car then went with you inside the hotel.

You scanned the place as it looked pretty fancy for a small building. "So we're gonna stay at a hotel, hmm."

"Yeah. We're gonna stay here until tomorrow afternoon." Koko replied, walking right beside you.

"You paid for everything?"

"Who would pay other than me? It's not a big deal." he answered, showing a confident grin.

"Uh-huh. You're rich and everything, I get that but you could've let us pay for the lunch from a while ago." you responded, disagreeing with his decisions on his own money.

"Y/n, you're such a caring friend. Here's the room. It looks neat, isn't it?" Koko dodged your statement and proceeded to comment about the place.

You forced a smile as you answered, "Yes. It looks great."

"Good to know! I'll do some work now so don't interrupt me." he said, hurrying to grab his things.

You watched him leave in an instant then Inupi came. "I put your bag on the table near the fridge." he said.

"Mhm. Thanks. Did you come here to check on me or Koko?" you wondered.

"Maybe a bit on both. I know he takes care of himself but there are times that he overworks." he answered.

The lights started to flicker that made you feel a bit frightened. You had a guess that it was Izana's doing.

Inupi glanced at the lights on the ceiling as well then his eyes went back to you. "Are you ok?"

"Huh? I'm perfectly fine, Inupi." you replied, fidgeting your hands.

"Heh. I see that you're still scared of the dark, Y/n. Don't worry, I'm here to protect you." Inupi responded, smirking.

You find it odd for him to talk like that. 'Does he always sound like this..?'

"Eh? Inupi, did you always have purple eyes?! Wow, I never knew that." you found it pretty shocking to see something rare and strange. You've been together with him all these years yet you just realized that just now?
