It was a reckless move for you to make but you would do everything to help a friend.. but I don't think your action will do anything to help.

"Get out of here!" Koko shouted at you.

You directed your head to him while still holding cover in front of him. Shouting back, "You're the one who should get out of here! Hurry, Koko!"

"Huh?! This is dumb! Ugh!" he exclaimed then he carried you fast.

"Hey! Put me down!" you screamed as you wiggle yourself out of his tight grip on your waist.

Koko ignored your scream and just ran away from those guys but there were more of them than he expected, quietly hiding at each corner.

Koko clicked his tongue as he got surrounded. "You shouldn't have come down here, Y/n."

"I make my own choices, Koko. Let's beat them up already!" you said, cracking your knuckles with a cocky grin on your face.

One of the men surrounding you fell unconscious on the floor. "Hey. Are you guys alright?"

"Inupi, take Y/n back inside the hotel! Quick!" Koko ordered as he kept his stance ready for a fight.

Inupi nodded and made his way through the crowd, throwing punches and kicks left and right.

"Y/n, crouch down!" Koko shouted as he faced you.

"Huh? Oh, ok!" you replied without knowing what he'll do. The next thing you know, he punched with full force on the guy who was sneaking up behind you.

"You have to run away by yourself. Inupi's still busy fighting. Go, Y/n!" he said loudly as he looked at you with both of his eyes.

You sighed, "Alright. Make it back with your limbs intact, ok?!"

You ran away as fast as you could at the opposite end of where you are. The back of the hotel became darker as the sun set.

'I can't get scared now! I have to make it back inside the hotel!' you closed your eyes tightly to handle your fear of the dark.

"Yo, Y/n!" Izana, who's floating on top of your head, appeared again.

"Ah! Izana, where were you? Can you help me get out?" you said, frightened as always from his sudden greetings.

"Of course! Didn't I tell you that I'd protect you? Follow me!" he sped up his movement for you to have a lead.

"Do you know this place? How come you already know the way out?" you questioned.

"I was making my rounds earlier. Ever since that Inupi left." he explained.

"Wait, did you know that we were gonna be in danger?"

"Yeah. I overheard Kokonoi's call from lunchtime and my senses kept tingling. I just couldn't sit still knowing the situation."

"Is that why you held my hand back there?"

"Haha! You're asking too many questions again, Y/n. Look! There's the exit." Izana stopped his tracks as soon as he saw the fenced gate.

"Great! Hold on, what about Koko and Inupi?" you said, looking back.

"Put your trust in them. They'll make it back in one piece." he responded, placing his feet back on the ground.

"Ok, I'll wait for them by the entrance of the hotel. What about you, Izana?" you agreed, nodding your head as you started to speak.
