TWELVE
Guys are all the same. They never tell you what movie you’ll see. So, when we arrive in front of the
cinema he drags me away from the movie programm, like I would guess which one we’ll go to. He
buys me a big box of popcorn and ushers me into the last row of the cinema hall. While we wait for
it to start, he keeps asking me all kind of questions. About my toddler days, my first day at school
not as easy things as at our first date anymore. Luckily the movie begins after I told him how tight
the bond between my brother and me is and he can’t ask me any other things. At first I get a bit
embarrassed when I realise what movie he got me in, for I have seen it with Jim and know how
many sex scenes there are in, but on the good side it gives me time to think of questions about
Calisto to ask him later.
As soon as the break is announced, Calisto cancels my plans by standing up and rushing out of
the room. What’s just up with him, I wonder.
“I hope you like chocolate ice cream?”, oh, he’s fast. Did he not only just disappear? When I realise
that he’s holding one out to me, I hastily grab it, murmuring a thank you whilst opening the wrap.
“So, how do you like the movie so far?” I give him a thumbs up, for I’m too busy eating my ice
without spilling it over my jeans.
“Not very talkative, are we?” He asks with grinning. Well, how should I respond to this?
“I like the movie, Anne Hathaway is a really good actress, she’s amazingly doing that Parkinson
disease. And yes, I love chocolate, so, thank you for the ice.” Huff, I said quite a lot without sounding
stupid.
“I’m glad you like it. Both.” Just the the room turn dark again. Wow, time’s different when I’m with
Calisto, even though I only saw him a few times. It’s creepy. After finishing my ice, I settle into my
seat to watch the leftover part. I only just made myself comfortable when he takes my hand in his.
Amazed, I turn my head to my right, to see him not watching the movie but me.
“What? Do I have chocolate around my lips?” that would be so like me.
“No, but if you did, I’d be happy to take it away.” Calisto says, before leaning in to kiss me. It’s not
just a light kiss on my mouth, but a deep, long one. By the time we stop, the movie is almost over.
“I’m sorry, I’m keeping you from watching. Now I’ll just have to take you to cinema again.” He
excuses with a big grin on his lips which makes me think he’s not sorry at all.
“Uhm, never mind, I’ve already seen this one.” I whisper back.
“Oh, why have you not said anything? I could’ve changed the tickets.”
I laugh out loud at that which makes me catch a few angry glances and hushes from other visitors. I
totally forgot about them.
“I think it was quite good the go into this one, we’ve proofed it just before, didn’t we? Anyway, since
