Dinner party

Daniels pov:
"Bub you ready to go?" I asked shouting up the stairs. "Almost, give me two minutes then I'll be ready. I promise" I heard her yell back. I sighed. I don't want to be late for this dinner we have planned with the boys, Corbyn and Zach's girlfriends will be there as well.

I heard heels walking down the stairs and when I looked up I gasped at how gorgeous Yn looked. My jaw went wide in shock of how beautiful she looked. She looked down and blush. "You ok Dani?" She asked looking at the boy. I nodded and wrapped my arm around hers. "You ready to go my love?" I asked. She nodded and we headed to the restaurant.

When we got there, we were there when everyone was pulling in so we were on time. We all got situated at a table and started conversations with different people until Lera asked me and Yn a question.

"Odd question but how did you two ever meet?" She asked, everyone looked at us. "Yeah you guys have been dating for a while and none of us know how you two met" Jack said. I smiled at Yn and grabbed her hand under the table. She smiled back at me and she started telling the story.

I was walking around the shops in LA after moving here. My parents already went home and I said I would take an Uber home, since I wanted to stay longer and see more.

It got too late to get an Uber so I decided to walk home instead. When I was walking home I felt a presence behind me. I looked around and an older looking man. When he caught me looking at him he smirked and continued walking closer to me.

I kept walking but could still hear him behind me. Then I heard him start to run. I started running trying to get away from him. He kept getting closer and closer to me, until he grabbed me and pulled me into an alley way. I screamed and shouted but no one could hear me. Because he had his hand over my mouth.

I bit his hand so hard he yelped and let go of me. I kicked him in the shin before I ran. I wasn't looking where I was going and didn't notice I was running into the middle of the road. Until I heard a bike tires screech and a boy yelling. I looked dow to see a boy my age on the ground with his bike.

"Oh god you ok, you kids just ran into the middle of the road" he said with a laugh but instantly stopped when he saw my scared face. "Hey what's wrong?" He asked. I looked over and the man was starting to get back up. I freaked and looked at the boy again.

"There's someone following me and I don't know what to do" I freaked. They boy looked behind me and moved in front of me with his bike. I held onto his arm for dear life when I saw they man walking over to us. Furious.

"Your going to be sorry you did that kitten" he growled. I winced and moved closer to the boy. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into his side. "You leave her alone" he said. The older man laughed.

"Or what?" He laughed, continuing to stare at me. "My uncle and my dads friend are cops. I could get you arrested for assaulting a minor. Leave her alone" he stated. The man's face went white and stood still. He started walking with me by his side ignoring the man's shocked face.

"I'm Daniel" the boy whispered. "Thank you for helping me Daniel." I smiled. He smiled back and we both continued walking. "I'm Yn by the way" I said after a minute of silence. "Nice to meet you Yn" Daniel said safely walking me back to my house.

"That's so cute!" Lera said. "I didn't know how much people you knew are cops" Zach said looking at me and Yn. "Oh I don't, I was saying a lot of bs when I was seventeen, I didn't want anything happening to this perfect girl" I smiled kissing the top of Yn's head. She blushed and looked down.

We continued talking until food came. We had our own little conversations with everyone. I looked over at Yn and saw her smiling and laughing with the boys girlfriends. I smiled and realised how much I loved this girl. I felt someone nudge me I looked around and saw Corbyn looking at me.

"You good man?" He asked. "Yeah why?" I asked confused. He smiled at me and laughed. "You've been staring at Yn for a few minutes. Everything ok with you two?" He asked. I nodded my head and smiled. "I just realised how much I love her and how much hi want to marry her" I smiled. Corbyn smiled wide and patted my back. "I'm proud of you man" he whispered.

I smiled and looked back at everyone. They were all smiling seeing how happy I was. I pulled Yn into my side and felt her wrap her arms around me. I smiled and whispered in her ear. "You ok?" She looked up and nodded. "You?" She whispered back. I nodded and smiled at her. "I love you" I said. "I love you too" she said back. I kissed her lips and she smiled into the kiss.

When we got home we both got out of our classy clothes and got into more comfortable clothes. We both got into bed because how late it was. I pulled Yn into me and kissed the top of her head. "Good night gorgeous" I whispered. "Good night Dani" she whispered back. I looked down and saw she was already dozing off. I smiled and kissed her head once again and pulled her on top of me and drifted off to sleep myself.
