Yns pov:
As I walked down the halls of my school. It was surprisingly quiet due to the amount of people. Or because I had one headphone in listening to music. As I walked to my locker. I saw from the corner of my eye. Daniel Seavey and his friends. They were the popular people in the school. Every girl wants to be noticed by them.

Me.... Not so much. I don't like getting out of my comfort zone. And by that I mean I have friends. Just I'm not outgoing. I don't mind talking to new people that I don't know but don't like having everyone's eyes on me.

When I was finished at my locker I grabbed my sketch pad and walked down to an empty hallway. Where not a lot of people go. Luckily for me. Nobody was here. And before you think, yes I do art. No I'm not the hippy type who does art. I do it in my free time.

Daniels pov:
Me and the boys were known as the popular people because of our 'looks'. All the girls want to be noticed by us but I have my eyes on a different girl. Yn yln. She's the shy, quiet girl. But she's different to every girl here. She doesn't bombard you with useless questions or invade you privacy. I've had some conversations with her but they weren't long.

Me and the guys tried to get out of the crowded hall and so we went down a few hallways to try and find and empty one. When we turned a corner I saw her. She had her headphones in and she was drawing on her sketch pad. The boys saw me staring and pushed me towards her. I flipped them off and slowly walked over to her. The boys walked in another direction to give us privacy.

When I walked over to her, her head shot up and smiled at me. "Hi" she smiled. I smiled back. "Hi, can I sit here?" She smiled and nodded her head. "Sure" she mumbled. I sat down beside her and saw what she was drawing. It was a picture of an older looking man. Smiling. "Your drawing is amazing." I smiled. She looked up to me and smiled back.

"Thanks, it's a picture of my grandad." She pulled out her phone and showed me a photo of the older man, she was drawing. "His birthday is coming up and I wanted to surprise him with one of my drawings." She said.

I looked over to her and saw her smile. Ok I'm going to go for it. "So I was wondering if. There would be any chance. Maybe I could take you out somewhere this Friday." I kept my head down. Scared of getting rejected. She didn't saw anything for a couple seconds. So I decided to look up.

She was looking at me with wide eyes and a shocked look on her face. "Y-you want to go out with me?" She asked, still looking surprised. I nodded my head and looked at her confused. "Yeah, why are you so shocked?" I asked. "Have you met me?" She said with a little scoff. I looked at her confused.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked once again. "Im not popular Daniel." She sighed. "So? I like you because you are yourself. You don't care what people think about you so, can I take you out on Friday?" She laughed and nodded. "Yes! Ok I'll pick you up from your house. You won't regret this!" I shouted running around the school.

Time skip:
It was eventually Friday and I have my date with yn tonight. I'm hoping she likes me back because she is the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on.

I heard a knock on my door and it opens to reveal the boys. "What do you want" i groaned. Not wanting to hear there teasing. "We just came over to see what your doing for your date tonight" Zach smirked. "I'm going to a diner with her. The one near the beach" I explained.

I looked down at my phone and realised it was nearly time to go. I looked back up to the boys and smiled. "I would love to keep talking to you boys but I have a date to go to with a very, very beautiful woman. So I better go" I said before leaving the house.

When I got to Yn's house I sent her a text saying I was here and she responded with 'be out in a sec :)' I smiled at the text and saw her walking out.I got out of my car, smiled at her and gave her a little hug.

When we got to the diner her eyes glistened. "Is this where we're going?" She asked. Turing to me. I nodded and smiled. "Yeah, I thought it would be cute" I blushed. "Thank you dani" she smiled. I looked over to her and saw a small amount of blush on her cheeks.

When we got inside. An older woman came over to us and got us a seat. We ordered what we wanted and had some small talk. " how long have you been doing art for?" She has to think for a second before answering. "I've been doing art for around 6 ish years, I started it when my grandad got sick, he's better now but, when he was sick I used art to take my mind off everything."

"I'm sorry that happened to your grandad" I apologised. "It's ok, he's a lot better know. That's why I was drawing him for his birthday, he always told me he wanted a drawing from me, so I decided to surprise him with the drawing" she smiled. I gently grabbed her hand and started playing with the rings on her fingers. She smiled and blushed once again.

After dinner we walked out onto the beach. Walking with our shoes in our hands and listening to the calming waves of the sea.

I looked down at Yn and put my hand into hers. She smiled and put her head on my shoulder. I stopped walking, making her stop as well. "You ok?" She asked. I nodded and looked into her brown eyes. "If it's ok with you I would really like to kiss you" i whispered.

She smiled and nodded. Letting me lean down and kiss her. Little did we know that wasn't the only kiss we'd share for the rest of our lives.
