*filler not really a filler chapter*
After all the girls got ready to go to starbucks I got a call from my mother.
The last time I spoke to my mother we left on bad terms. I answered the call.
"Haze, do you want to come to the amusement park as an apology for last time. You can bring your friends!"
I glance at the girls and they all look at me saying 'please' in eyebrow language.
"Okay mom I'm bringing the girls as well"
The girls let out a silent scream of excitement. I smiled a little.
I hung up the phone and we all hoped in my car and headed to the amusement park forgetting the starbucks.
As we entered the park I saw my elder sister coming to greet us.
I looked at the ferris wheel that seemed bigger than it was last time I was here. We then got tickets and went on the ride.
Lucy said she wanted to take pictures with my phone but I knew how clumsy this girl was and I was not trusting her with my phone.
"Come on Haze please!!"
"I'll let Macy hold it but not you Luce your hands have mind of their own!"
Tara then takes out her phone and we all took a group photo. We then saw her phone fall to the ground.
I tried not to laugh as she just stared at the ground.
"Its okay Tara... We'll get you another one..." I said trying to calm her down.
"No, no, you don't get it. That was my mom's phone!"
We all looked at each other frozen in shock.
"Well Tara what are you doing with your mom's phone!" Macy yelled.
"I don't know Mace, she asked me to hold it for her" Tara whined
"Oh we are so fucked." Relda says as her and Adira giggle trying really hard not to laugh too hard.
As the ride ended Tara took up her mom's phone in utter horror.
"Do you think my mom will be mad."
"Don't worry we'll say it's our fault and we'll buy your mom a new one." I reassure her.
"Thanks Haze you're the best! You don't have too though!" Tara says as she hugs me so tight I couldn't breathe.
"What are you guys waiting for let's group hug!" Tara exclaimed.
Lucy, Macy, Relda, and Adira all hugged me until I peacefully suffocated.
As we were walking around the park we see a girl with blonde hair stabbing somebody.
We went up to the friend group and told them about the girl. They didn't seem surprised but disappointed.
We exchanged numbers and went about our days.
After we got food and drinks and talked to my older sister for a while. I went to use the bathroom.
On my way to the bathroom the guy who asked me out blocked me.
"Can I help you?"
"Hello beautiful, it's a lovely day isn't it? Someone as stunning as you deserves to be taken out don't you think?"
"I'm sorry but I'm in a rush here. Thanks for the compliments."
I try to pass but he gets in my way blocking me again. I suddenly saw Vincent standing behind me.
"Let her pass." He ordered.
He looked at Vincent with utter hatred in his eyes then took a piece of paper out of his pocket and showed me.
"If I take your stupid paper would you let me use the restroom?"
"Precisely."
Vincent then grabbed my waist. I smirked and took the guys paper.
As the guy left he made the call me sign with his fingers and looked at Vincent smirking.
Vincent got fed up and tried to go get the guy but I held him back.
"It's okay Vin I can handle him."
He then stepped back looking flustered. I kissed his cheek and went to the restroom. I have never seen him so red in my life.
As I left the restroom I see Vin and my mom talking. My mom gestured for me to come talk to her in private. I went with her.
"Sweetheart I am so sorry about last time."
"No mom I'm sorry, I was the one out of line and I know you only wanted to protect me."
"No sweetheart I was wrong for comparing you to my mothers situation. I know how smart you are and I never should have underestimated you"
"I'm sorry too..." I see my sister walk up to us with her sorry ass face.
I giggled a little bit at their sorry faces.
"You guys are getting all mushy on me it's totally fine." I reassured them laughing a little.
"Okay but Hazel, my point still stands whatever house you see do not go in it. My mother was naive and I don't want you ending up like her. No one knew what was in that house but all we know is that it's dangerous. I can't see it but I know the dangers of it Haze. You should too."
"Okay mom I won't go in there..."
Something in me felt like that was a lie. I wanted to go in there.
