I have exams today and tomorrow on Friday. I have been studying and preparing for this exam for a while however, with everything with the house. I don't know if I'm prepared enough.
These are the first exams we have this year. They're not that important since they're meant to determine our skills before midterms however, I need to take every exam seriously if I want my bachelor's degree.
It's my senior year of college. My last year of this hell hole. I need to get my degree.
As I'm driving to campus I zone out for a while. As I zone back in I noticed I'm driving pass the house. I've been trying to avoid it but my body won't let me.
It's like I'm being forced to get in the house.
As I pass the house I experience the same symptoms but worse. This time the ringing in my ears were louder.
My ears started bleeding. Blood was pouring down my face and I got a serious migraine. I got nauseous and felt bugs crawling on me everywhere. Goosebumps.
I tried to speed up my car but the car wouldn't move. I repeatedly stomped on the pedal until the car moved.
By then I was crying and screaming in pain. I cried all the way to campus.
I entered Mr. Barlowe's class a couple minutes late. I knew Mr. Barlowe wouldn't say anything because we were close.
As he handed out the test's he gave me my paper and looked at me suspiciously. He kept side eyeing me the whole class.
Why does everyone think I'm crazy or like I'm going to do something stupid. I then turn to my left and see the guy who asked me out staring at me and Mr. barlowe.
What is going on in this school? Something isn't right about this place. More specifically there is something going on involving the house, my family, and this twisted neighborhood.
I exited Mr. Barlowe's class with high hopes for my results. I then see Vincent standing outside my classroom door.
"Hi Haze, could you meet me by the fountain behind campus at 2:45?"
"Uh sure what's wrong?"
"Nothing just meet me there."
He then walked away heading to his next lecture.
Was Vincent a murderer? Maybe I'm jumping too far into conclusions. That was suspicious.
Maybe it isn't anything serious. Maybe he just wants help with his homework.
I finished my next lecture and went to the fountain. To my surprise I saw Vincent holding flowers.
"Vin! Who's all this for?"
"Who do you think Haze?"
"Is this a love confession?"
"You are a very blunt person Haze, one of the many traits I love about you. Everyday you give me a reason to keep on living in this sick world.
I've liked you ever since we met. We were literally babies and I knew I liked you Haze. We grew up together our whole lives and I finally think its time to let you know that... I don't just like you Haze. I love you."
I just stood there with tears in my eyes as I looked up at him.
"Vin... That was the cheesiest thing I've ever heard..." I said as I smiled looking him in the eyes. He giggled at my humour.
"I love you too Vin. I always have."
He blushed and I kissed his cheek. I then got on one knee.
"I- Slow down there buddy" exclaimed Vin. I laughed at his joke while my cheeks slowly turned bright red.
