HONEY LEMONS POV
I danced down the hall and ran out to the mailbox. I gave myself a mini pep talk and then slowly opened the mailbox. A letter with big words on the front laid inside. I grabbed it and ran inside. I just about fell when I opened the front door. My mother looked up at me from the kitchen,
"Up this early?" She asked. I nodded my head wildly. She didn't rallied today was very important. I held up the letter in excitement, and then she knew. I ripped it open.
"I can't read this." I said. She pointed at the mirror behind me. I looked in the mirror, and noticed that I was so excited for the letter I forgot my glasses.
"B.R.B!" I yelled as I ran down the hall. I searched for my glasses. For some reason I couldn't find them. I looked on my dresser, in my closet, under my bed, in my bed, but nowhere. I looked at my mirror and realized- They were on my head the whole time. I slipped them on and then ran, again, down the hall to the kitchen.
"Okay, okay. Here we go!" I said. I slowly opened the letter.
"Dear Miss Aiko,
We have enjoyed your wonderful audition and really think you have talent! You showed great science expertise and we believe you have great potential. Your display of being a chemist has really shown us your capability. We have acepted your request to come and learn at SFIT." I read. I screamed and jumped around.
"Mom! I got in! I got in! Next week I'm gonna go to the best school in San Fransokeyo!" I screamed my mom clapped and jumped with me.
"I have to go tell Ethel!" I skipped into my room and logged onto video chat. Soon, her face popped up. Her short black and purple hair was still messy, I probably woke her up.
"Hey Aiko. Quick question- Why are you up so early?" She asked as she yawned. My smile couldn't be contained.
"I got accepted! I'm going to SFIT!" I announced. She smiled.
"Cool. Lemme check my mail." She said. Soon, she came back with a letter.
"Nice- I'm in too." Ethel said.
"That's it? That's your expression to such a big, wonderful, amazing moment?" I asked, a little disappointed. She shrugged and got out gum. She popped a piece in her mouth and began chewing.
"Oh, Fred and Wasabi texted and they got in too. Well Fred, of course got in being the mascot and all." She said. I spun in my chair with joy.
"Omg OMG! We're all gonna go to SFIT!" I exclaimed.
"Hey, I'll text them and we can go to that coffee place." Ethel said. I nodded and we hung up. I hopped to my dresser and picked out one of my usual outfits: yellow leggings, a orange dress, and bright yellow heels. You know, the usual.
