I grabbed my bag and ran out the door.
"Wait honey! I have a surprise!" My mom called from the window. I jogged back and opened the door.
"Yeah?" I asked. She opened her purse and got out her keys. I looked at her with question. She handed me the keys.
"Really? I can drive myself?" I asked, excitedly. She nodded.
"Your old enough, Honey Lemon. Now go on, before your late." She said. I hugged her and ran to the car. I climbed in the Bug Car and stuck it the key. I turned it and watched as I backed out of driveway. As I began to drive I passed a new area I haven't seen before. A large paddock with horses of all colors roamed around inside. One of them reminded me of myself. It was a golden palemeno with white socks. Quite the outfit. I smiled and nodded. I pulled into a parking lot with a large sign that said, SFIT. As I hopped out of the car, I saw Gogo and the gang.
"Hey, what took you so long?" She asked. I just smiled.
"And your driving?" Wasabi asked.
"Yup! Just for a little while though. But for now, ima live it up!" I exclaimed. The crowds began to file in and we became crowded. Kids and teachers were everywhere. We were surrounded by people. I felt somebody accident bump me.
"Sorry!" I heard them say. I turned around to see a guy wearing a SFIT hat and a satchel.
"Sorry! I didn't mean to bump you either." I said. He looked a little embarrassed. Before I was going to introduce myself the bell rang.
"Hey, see you!" I said to my friends as I trotted off to class. Who was he? I was ashamed of myself that I didn't at least say my name to him. Now he probably thinks I'm some jerk that hates him. Just my luck. I opened the door to my first class, robotics. As I entered everyone sat down. Why would they sit down when I entered the room? I turned around to see why. They didn't sit down because of me- they sat down becuase of a girl with beach blonde hair with a pink streak, a headband, lots of makeup, and a phone in hand.
"Ugh. Excuse me? Your blocking my pathway." She said. I thought maybe I could try and be nice. Maybe a joke would help.
"Technically, it's just a class not a red carpet." I said trying to crack a joke. The class laughed. I thought a joke was the answer, but that's where I went wrong.
"Ugh! This is why I hate commoners! Lindsey, pass me gum. I'm stressing." She said. One of her followers, apparently named Lindsey, handed her a piece of gum that she shoved in her mouth. She pushed me aside and took a seat. I saw Gogo and sat by her.
"Who's that?" I asked quietly. Gogo popped her gum.
"Everyone's been talking about her. They say her name is Baily." Gogo said, a little too loudly. Baily whipped her head back to me and glared.
"Do you know who I bumped into earlier?" I asked, hey I might as well know.
"Just ask yourself." Gogo said, gesturing upwards. I turned and saw the guy I bumped into walk into class. He sat between me and Baily. I tapped his shoulder and he turned.
"Sorry I didn't properly introduce myself earlier. I'm Aiko, my friends call me Honey Lemon." I said. He smiled.
"I'm Tadashi." He held out his hand and I shook it. He turned back around just as Baily turned to me. She was shocked. Then she turned to Tadashi.
"Tadashi, don't mind her. I'm so sorry that she so rudely ran into you. She even stopped me from walking. And she threatened me. If I were you, I would stay away." Baily said. Did she just lie about me? I'm usually a mellow girl, but if you lie about me or my friends... You'll get a chemical reaction you don't wanna mess with known as the Honey Lemon Bomb. And Baily just lit the fuse.
