Ruined My Chances

He's dating somebody else. He is and I know it. Then why in the world is my brain like, "LOVE HIM!!!!!" Sometimes I hate my brain. I lay down on my bed and grab my phone. A text alert pops up. From Gogo. The texts go like this:
Gogo: Heard about your disappointment with that guy. Sorry to hear. Those kind of guys r like that
Me: What do you mean, "those kind of guys are like that?"
Gogo: He's really popular. Pops are usually players/rude
Me: he didn't play me. I liked him and he is dating somebody else.
Gogo: you said likED. Does that men u don't anymore?
Me: I don't know. See you at school, I have homework.
Then I left the texts. Was Gogo right? Was he purposefully giving me emotions? I don't know. Maybe he was. No. I have to stop thinking about this. He has a girlfriend. Wait... How did Gogo find out? I unlocked my phone.
Me: how did you find out about what happened?
Gogo: I think everybody knows... Baily sent a group text... To basically everybody.
Me: What did she say? Don't leave out any details.
Gogo: Baily said that Aiko is trying to steal Tadashi away.
Me: Why???!!!! Was Tadashi included on the group text?
Gogo: No.
Me: Text you later.
Why in the world would she do that? I'm not even talking to Tadashi right now! Enough is enough. I need to move on. I won't even talk to him. If I do that, she can't say anything bad about me.
THE NEXT DAY:
I sat down in robotics and laid my head on my hands. Gogo came in and sat next to me.
"You okay?" She asked.
"More or less." I said. She nodded as Tadashi walked in. Baily instantly walked up to him. She's so desperate to keep me away.
"Hey Baily." He glanced at me.
"Hey, Dashi!" She said. He looked embarrassed when she said that.
"Baily-" he began, she cut him off.
"For our six week anniversary, I was thinking a romantic dinner." She said.
"Please, Baily-" he tried.
"And then maybe we could see a movie. I'll buy popcorn and stuff. Anyways, I want to plan a Big Bang anniversary." She said.
"Baily listen. We need to talk. At lunch come meet me." He said. She smiled and nodded. He sat down.
"Hey, Honey Lemon." He said. I just looked at him and ignored. He looked confused and looked back to the teacher. Gogo elbowed me slightly and shrugged. I sighed. During passing time he tried to talk to me again.
"Honey Lemon, wait up. Are you okay?" He asked.
"Fine." I mumbled. He stopped and walked behind me, slower. Once I got to my lab I got out my lunch bag. Tadashi knocked.
"Come in." I said. He quietly came in.
"I wanted to ask you something." He said.
"Why don't you just ask Baily?" I said, trying to get him to leave.
"What? No I need to ask you specifically."
"Tadashi, I'm not in the mood to chat." I said.
"Why are you acting so weird?" He asked, a little defensive.
"That's a great question. Maybe one day you'll know and understand." I said. He looked hurt.
"Honey Lemon, what's gotten into you?" He was really defensive.
"Just go ask Baily then!" I yelled. I started to get mad at him, not Baily.
"Honey Lemon-"
"No okay?! I don't care! Just go away!" I said. He backed up.
"Well now I know my answer. I just wanted to ask if you liked me back. I guess I know now. Thanks a lot." He said and he walked out. My face went blank. What did I just do? I screamed and sat down. My face turned red, my eyes watered. I was fed up with Baily telling lies about me, I yelled at the only guy I ever liked. I need to apologize. I walked to his lab door and I heard him talking:
"I was gonna break up with Baily at lunch and everything if she just listened. I explained myself to a girl who hates me. Great move Tadashi." I heard him say. I just ruined my one and only chance. Because I was so fed up with a rude snotty girl. I ruined my one golden ticket to paradise. And there's no getting back all that I said. I wish I could just eat my words. But I can't. I can't fix this. This is something I made for myself, then I smashed it. There goes my chandelier falling again. But this time, all those crystals went and shattered and broke into a million little pieces. I had a princess chance and it was ruined. My golden magic hair is cut, my glass slipper broke, I bit the poisoned apple, I won't wake up from the spinning wheel. Way to go, me...
