I finally worked up some nerve to even think about talking to Tadashi. It's nearly midnight and I'm still up. Right now I'm writing notes saying how sorry I am. Each letter cornier than the last. I crumple up another paper and toss it at my garbage bin that's overflowing. It hits the wall instead and lands on my dresser.
"Are any of these even close to a proper apology. Geez I'm a cornball." I thought. Footsteps tipped towards my room. I hid my pen and paper under my cover and then pretended to sleep. My door creaked open and my mother peeked in. She left and I sat back up. She thudded downstairs . She's so loud.
