to kiss in cars and downtown bars

"SO you finally made a move on Wheeler or what?"

Celia let out a soft groan as Robin lay down on the grass next to her, the short-haired girl making sure their shoulders touched just to annoy her friend.

"I'll murder you," Celia murmured, jaw clenched, causing Robin to roll her eyes. She knew Celia was easily upset, and she acted that way whenever something bothered her.

And that happened so often that Robin didn't even try to calm her down anymore.

Celia Harrington was this town's very own mystery and Robin was quite proud of what she had figured out about her.

"You need to move on from her," Robin declared, fiddling with the rings on her fingers and gazing up at the sky while completely shutting out the loud noises of the other students deciding to take their lunch break outside. "I know all too well that her whole priss image has it's flare and gives her the vibe, but if she hasn't fallen in love with you yet then she definitely isn't into girls."

Robin moved her head ever so slightly to look at Celia, who had her eyes closed. The sun reflected a golden glow on her face, highlighting her perfect features and sending a shine down her beautiful dark hair. Robin's heart started beating a little faster when she realized she was staring at her and quickly looked away, clearing her throat awkwardly and waiting for Celia to finally say something.

Celia was conflicted. She wanted to tell Robin that she and Nancy had kissed and that it was just a mistake, a red stain in a perfectly white dress. That it hadn't meant anything to Nancy, that being with her would only ever be a dream.

Celia should accept Nancy's words. She should accept that they weren't the same – respect Nancy's boundaries. But a silly little voice in the back of her head kept reminding her of the smile Nancy had after the kiss. That smile that melted her heart and made her eyes light up.
