Originally the assistant to the psychotic and abusive Principal Faust, Bump and Eda have a long history together from being referred to Bump's office for pranks to going to IFWOT together where Eda met Raine Whispers. When Eda dropped out after being cursed, Bump secretly fell into a depression of running a school with no excitement, but all that changed when Luz enrolled. Though he seemed nefarious at first, Bump is actually a wise and understanding leader, going so far as to show Luz that there is such a thing as a principal who truly only cares for the safety and interests of his students.
