[Hero]
The way she moved when she was showing us a pirouette was mesmerizing, she looked very elegant. I will admit the first impression I made was...jerky—is that even a word? I don't know. I walk out of my bedroom taking a left to the kitchen to see Parker cooking, if that's what you even wanna call it. He's not the best cook and I had to learn that the hard way. Parker and I have been best friends since freshman year of high school where we both tried out for the football team and of course, made it.
I pull out the stool from under the counter to sit, "Hey Park, is jerky a word?"
"Um yeah, isn't jerky something you eat?"
"Dude, not in that context. More like an I'm an ass, type of jerky."
"Ugh, just call yourself a jerk and stop overcomplicating things. Why are you asking me this anyways." He says as he is whisking stuff in a bowl.
"I think I was an ass to the girl that's supposed to be my partner in the ballet class."
"Who's your partner?"
"Noelle Sinclair who prefers to be called Elle."
"Oh Elle the one who was spinning, Avery tells me she's nice."
I sigh, "It doesn't matter what Avery said about her, they're best friends so it doesn't count."
"Speaking of Avery I invited her over, I also invited Cameron, Wells, and Cierra."
Wells is Parker's boyfriend, he's bisexual. And Cierra likes me...I think.
"Why so many people."
"Because it's Saturday."
"Whatever, do you think Avery would bring Noelle."
"Maybe, I told her she could bring anyone...wait do you—like her?"
My eyes widen, "No! Are you insane?! I can't like someone I don't know."
"You can get to know her." He says grabbing the cheese out of the refrigerator.
"Whatever, and first what are you making, second when are they coming?"
"Pizza and they should be here in less than 30 minutes."
All that trouble to make pizza? Whatever.
I get up from the stool and walk back into my room, I don't like Noelle.
I do like the fact that she's cocky, It's kinda cute. Wait not cute more like...well I don't know but not cute.
I really like her name though, I don't know why she doesn't like to be called it. Anyways it doesn't matter I need to figure out what to wear.
I look through my closet, Black jeans and a white tee seem alright. Or not, what if Noelle thinks I look bad, wait I don't care, I don't even know if she's coming. Okay, I'll just put the clothes on.
I look in the mirror next to my door flatting down my shirt a bit, I think I look good. Shit, I need to brush my teeth. I put on my converse and go into the bathroom to brush.
"Wells and Cierra are here!" Parker yells out.
I finish up and walked out of the bathroom.
"Hey guys."
"Hi Hero," Cierra comes closer to me. She obviously wants to hug me but I just fist-bump her.
I sit on the couch in the living room with her following.
"Hey so how has football been?"
"Not good, coach sent us to do ballet."
"I thought that only happened in movies?" She giggles.
"Mhm."
I don't want to show Cierra too much interest, I've told her before that I don't see her as more than a friend but she can't seem to give up.
A few minutes passed of Cierra talking to me and me replying with short answers. Parker finished making his pizza which of course is burned. After them throwing it away him and Wells joined us on the couch.
There's a knock on the door which Parker gets up to answer. It's Cameron.
"Hey Park what's up man," he gives parker a hug. "I thought these two were following me," he laughs pointing behind him. Coming through the door are Avery and Noelle.
She's wearing a black jacket that's zipped up and dark blue jeans that slightly flare out at the bottom. Dressed casually but somehow looks amazing.
It wouldn't hurt to get to know her...
Okay so like I'm more of a short chapter person, so expect shorter chapters more than longer. Anyways lets talk ships names. So there's Nero (Noelle and Hero), Noore (Noelle and Moore), Sero (Sinclair and Hero), Soore (Sinclair and Moore). Idk I'm stuck between Nero and Noore tbh.
