Carlise and I were talking in the meeting room while waiting for Luke Reed to come.

Somehow my relationship with him has improved since we first met.

After getting to know him a bit better he didn't look like an Asshole anymore. To be honest he's quite attractive especially when he does business.

"I think I need to go to the gym again, I'm getting out of shape again," Carlise said while touching her nonexisting belly. She's 35 but she can easily pass for 25 years old. She's beautiful with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She's also very charming and knows how to flirt with men. Many of our coworkers look at her with lust. Also many asked her out but she always refuses.

Carlise is not a bad person, after working in the company for five months I got to know her better. One flaw she has is her mouth. She loves to gossip and spread rumors and always wants to know everything about people.

"I got a membership last week. It's quite entertaining, to be honest" I applied for the gym last week. Another decision I made impulsively because I wanted to improve myself.

Maybe my mother's remarks about my body had influenced that decision a little bit too.

But to be honest, what I was looking for was a relief for my stomach aches. Because of my anxiety skyrocketing recently, I've had more frequent stomach aches. I've read some studies that claimed that doing sports helps so I applied right after.

I have my curves and I'm not ashamed of them but I did want to get a bit more toned. Especially my legs, which have a bit too much cellulite in my opinion.

"Really? Where do you go?" Carlise asked me curiously.

"Power Sports, the one on Brick Street. It's small but the staff is friendly and it's always clean" I really liked the place. After a few days, I found out that between 7 pm and 8 pm it's when people frequent the place the less. Perfect for an awkward person like me.

"Haven't heard of it, usually I go to Health at Gym, it's bigger and many of our coworkers and others from the company go. Even Luke Reed goes there. A total eye-catch to be honest." Carlise was not subtle about her obsession with Luke Reed. But unfortunately for her, he didn't really pay much attention to her or anyone in the company.

"Ah, I see, well I'm happy with my choice at the moment."

Carlise wanted to say something else but shut up looking behind me. When I turned around Luke Reed was sitting at the head of the table engrossed in some papers.

When did he get here?

I wasn't embarrassed about my conversation with Carlise. I said nothing bad about him but Carlise on the other hand had flushed cheeks. I mean she should after basically admitting she goes there to see Luke Reed train.
