A/N head up this one is sad :)

Word Count: 3012

He wants to get married
He wants it perfect
He wants his granddaddy preachin' the service
Yeah, he wants magnolias out in the country
Not too many people, save his mummy some money

"It's going to be perfect, Lou!" Harry gushes from where he's sat across from me, his best friend, at a small diner in the middle of our small town.

I can't help the fond smile from making its way onto my face as the beautiful boy across from me gushes about wedding plans.

"I'm gonna have my granddaddy do the service. I always promised him he could and now he can!"

"That sounds perfect, Haz. I'm sure he'll be excited to do it, especially for his favorite grandson."

Harry smiles so wide, his dimples look more like the craters of the moon.

"I'm thinking of magnolias for the flowers, they're pretty, aren't they?"

"Gorgeous, Harry. Everything you pick will be gorgeous."

"It's definitely going to be out in the country. Somewhere secluded and peaceful."

Harry continues to ramble on and on about wedding plans as I sit and watch as he glows with excitement, the gleam in his eyes never fading.

"And, since Mum is paying, I figured not too many people. Save her some money where I can."

I can only nod and watch the younger boy delve deeper into the wedding booklets Gemma gave him from when she planned her wedding.

Harry's brown curls bounce as he talks animatedly about first dances and floral arrangements and who the best man is going to be and what color the tuxes should be.

And I just nod right along because Harry has his vision and who would I be to change it?

Oh, he got it all planned out
Yeah, I can see it all right now

As Harry speaks, pictures are flowing through my mind. Memories of me and Harry morph into images of the wedding.

I'll wear my black suit, black tie, hide out in the back
I'll do a strong shot of whiskey straight out the flask

I can see the images clear as day. Waiting at the altar, Harry's grandpa behind me, waiting for Harry as he walks down the aisle. Standing up there in front of our families and our friends.

I can see myself wearing a black suit and tie and Harry wearing something gray, looking charming as his curls frame his face.

I can imagine calming my nerves with whiskey. Hiding away for just a moment before changing the rest of my life with the love of my life.

I can imagine the day being beautiful. A perfect outcome of all Harry's hard work and planning. All Annes money poured into one beautiful day.

I'll try to make it through without cryin' so nobody sees
Yeah, he wanna get married
But he don't wanna marry me

The longer Harry talks, the more the images in my head change. They change from me and Harry to Harry with his actual fiance, Nate.

Nate is a good guy and all, but...he's not me.

And now the images in my head are me in the back pew, trying not to cry as Anne gives Harry away to Nate.

As Harry's grandfather welcomes everyone to the church to celebrate Harry and Nate.
