Across the vast reaches of the multiverse, I have borne witness to many possible outcomes, where individuals who had died in some realities lived on in others, which in turn led to the existence of new people. In some of the universes you are familiar with, Spider-Man's first true love, Gwen Stacy, died at the hands of the Green Goblin, who had previously discovered Peter Parker's true identity. But in this universe, Norman Osborn died in a warehouse fire before he had even had a chance to unmask Spider-Man, and thus Gwen Stacy never died, and instead lived on to enjoy a happy life as Peter's wife.

The love between them led to the birth of their daughter, Sarah Parker, who would inherit her parents' scientific intelligence, as well as her father's amazing spider-powers. Now in her eighteenth year of life, Sarah currently studies at Horizon University in the city of San Francisco, with dreams of becoming a scientist like her parents. Whilst there, she took to crime-fighting as Spider-Girl, taking to heart her father's talks about great power coming with great responsibility...

Swinging across the city, Spider-Girl soon reached the penthouse apartment where she lived, high above the streets of San Francisco. Taking care to make sure she would not be spotted, she flew through the open skylight in the roof, and landed gracefully on the floor of the living room.

As the young crime-fighter stood up, another attractive lady in her late teens came into the room. She had short wavy red hair, and was dressed in a white tube top, a long sleeveless draped red cardigan vest, a long teal abyss-coloured skirt, and knee high brick-coloured boots. Completing the ensemble was a red charmeuse neckerchief scarf wrapped elegantly around her neck.

"Well, you sure took your time getting back," said the young woman with a faux pout on her face, as Sarah pulled off her mask and straightened her long blonde hair

"Well, you sure took your time getting back," said the young woman with a faux pout on her face, as Sarah pulled off her mask and straightened her long blonde hair.

"Sorry, Annie," said Sarah, as she gave her roommate/girlfriend an apologetic smile. "Had to foil an armoured car robbery on the way back here."

"No biggie, Saz," grinned Annie Watson as she came over and gave Sarah a reassuring kiss on the cheek. "The peace and quiet here gave me a chance to work on my designs for fashion class."

Now it was Sarah's turn to give a fake pout look. "Are you saying I'm noisy? Not cool, gorgeous!"

The young couple burst out laughing and headed to their shared bedroom, where Sarah began to change out of her spider-suit and back into her everyday clothes, consisting of a white top, a short red skirt, and long black leather boots.

"So, which supervillain did you have to deal with this time?" asked Annie.

"A guy called the Shocker," said Sarah as she finished changing and slipped on a bright yellow ochre blazer-style jacket. "My Dad tangled with him a few times over the years. I'm kinda surprised that he already hasn't gone into retirement, cause he must be pretty old by now."
