POV xiao

i slowly fell into an emptyness,no one was there expect the darkness. i felt how the karma slowly took over my mind. my mind was going crazy. as the emptyness wrapped me deeper..

POV [Reader]

as xiao suddenly fell down infront of the inn,i took him fast inside. since i was a bit loud,verr golad heard me and saw me with xiao,she ran at us and asked what happend.i told her what happend and we dragged the yaksha fast inside. verr gave me some supplies to take care of him.

"looks like his karma took over his mind..*sigh*"

i mumbled while patting his head,verr goladt left us and went back to bed. i watched xiao sweating, i put a wet cloth on his forehead to keep him alittle calm. i laid him on my lap and hugged him tight.

"wish i could help you somehow.."

i whispered and kissed his lips softly, i sighed and closed my eyes.

A few hours later /Xiao POv

i woke up Sweat bathed.

„Xiao! Are you ok? "

I heard the familiar voice behind me, as she hugged me tightly.

„Im fine.. "

„i was so worried!"

„im fine now.. "

As i turned to her direction and hugged her back.

„I love your smell.. Like Qixing flowers.. "

I heard her mumbling as i smiled softly.

„mmmh.. Maybe we should stay in this position.."

I looked at her, and kissed her head softly as i heard a soft laugh.

„if you wanna talk.. What happend in you vision.. Im here.. "

I nodded

(2.8 ARCHON QUEST SPOILERS)

„It was about.. The other yakshas.. As i fell into an endless emptyness, i saw a vision of Bosacius.. How they suffered.. "

I took a small breath

„How Bosacius vanished without a clue.. "

„But..i thought every yaksha expect you died? "

She questioned

„3 of them died, their bodys were found but. They never found Bosacius body.. There was a legend that a unknown yaksha actually helped in the archon war.. "

I explained in short words

„i think.. Im gonna search for the unknown yaksha in the next da in the chasm since i found a few clues.. That means.. I wont be back for a few days.. "

I sighed.

„be careful.. As i heard there are dangerous things.. "

She hugged me tighter.

I patted their head and gave them some kisses on the head.

The next day

I woke up earlier and left her in the bed alone, as i went to the chasm. I felt a familiar presence.

After i got in the inner cave i heard a few people. And like i expected, i saw the traveler with a few people. Under the people i recognised were their companion Paimon and the half adepti Yanfei.

I was looking at them until a woman walked to my difection.

„Can you feel it traveler? “

The traveler nod, and it looked like they sensed me so i teleported behind them.

„Vigilant Yaksha! What are you doing here? “

I heard the half adept asking me.

„Im here for a different reason, you guys shouldn't be here. Its dangerous. “

„Bu-“

Before Paimon ended her sentence i teleported away.

„Im comming for you Bosacius.. “
