The fireworks were exploding in the sky, bright colours and loud noises, i smiled towards the sky and enjoyed the colourful night. Xiao did the same but somthing bothered me. „Xiao are you alright? “, i turned my head to him with a worrying face. He sighed. „it's nothing.. Just enjoy this new year, i can feel that's its gonna be different than last year“, he said not turning his face to me, still looking to the sky. I gently smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder, the night was flying fast but I head to sleep on the wooden floor as hours went by, Xiao didn't want to sleep.

I slept peacefully on the wooden floor.. After hours the sun came and gently woke me up from my sleep, i sat properly to see Xiao closing his eyes and sitting beside him. I smiled at him and slowly grabbed his hand, he opened his eyes in a blink of an eye and looked at me. „You scared me-why did you wake up so fast-“, i asked and Stroke over his hand softly. „I thought it was someone else but it wasn't “, he mumbled. Inazuma is a beautiful nation but also dangerous. I stood up to stretch my body, Xiao also stood up. „We need to go back to Miko, i need to ask her about Ei“, i said and we both head back to the shrine where Miko prays infront of the huge sakura tree. „ah. Happy New year lovebirds! What do you want? “, Miko created us with a smirk Nevertheless with a warm smile. „Where's Ei? I need to talk to her and you know why“,I said and I saw her sighing. „oh my.. If you want to Look after Ei so badly.. I don't know if she wanders Around or if the puppet is there instead of Ei“, she sighed. „Puppet?“, Xiao questioned.

I was sitting on the huge sakura tree from the shrine and ate an apple, i enjoyed the view.
„Miko? Where are you? “,
I almost choked from the words, the voice was too familiar, I immediately recognised it. It was Ei.

I sat still not daring to jump down, i was getting more nervous but Miko appeared. “Ei, you're right on time~ The Dangos are done! “, Miko said happily while sitting on the stair infront of the sakura tree and gave Ei one Dango. „It has been awhile, hasn't it? “, Ei asked, i still sat nervously on the tree quietly. I just watched them from above. „is that the shougen..? “, Xiao appeared behind me and i screamed, because he jumpscared me.
„huh? What was that? “, Ei asked Miko but Miko continued to eat her Dango. I quickly shut my mouth with my hands and looked annoyingly towards Xiao, he sighed and also looked to them. „Anyways, I heard that the Traveler is back from Liyue“, Miko said while eating her dango. „Oh really? Liyue? It kinda reminds me of [Reader].. I actually miss her“, EI said and munched on her Dango. I just sat quietly from above overthinking.
„I also heard that the Traveler brought two special guests from liyue too, you'll might see them soon or now “, Miko chuckled at continued to eat the Dango, Ei almost choked on hers. „I'm gonna welcome them soon, don't worry.. “, Ei chuckled.

But before They continued eating and talking, i felt a strong force pushing me down from the tree.

„HEY-! “, I yelled and looked to the tree seeing xiao smirking and then disappearing. Before I could say anything, Ei and Miko looked shocked at me. „[Reader]..? Is that really you..?“, Ei asked shocked almost shocking on her Dango, she placed it down and helped me get up. „I didn't imagine that our first encounter after years will be that awkward. I'm sorry -! I hope I'm no longer banned from Inazuma tho.. “, I chuckled awkward.

We chatted for awhile. „So I think the one special guest from Liyue is [Reader]?“ Ei asked Miko and she nodded. „And who's the other - “,Ei questioned again. „You'll have to find out, i dont think he'll appear infront of us now“, i giggled and Miko gave me a Dango and she also chuckled, Ei sighed and continued to eat her Dango peacefully.

After a few hours of talking and munching on Dangos, it's started to get late,and Ei wanted to leave. „Oh and..! Ei! Do you know what happend to Kunikuzushi in the last years? “, i asked her and she turned to me. „Didn't Miko already informed you? “, she asked, Miko didn't say anything about Kuni in the past days.
„No? Why? “,i said and crossed my arms. „well then.. Kunikuzushi came back a few months ago to get my gnosis.. Miko gave him my Gnosis, I'm no longer use of it and I allowed it. I still don't know the reason of it tho.. But The Traveler said that he joined the Fatui.. “, she sighed and turned her back to me. I looked confused at her, i mean- why does he need her gnosis, i overthinked in my head not noticing that Ei already went back, Miko came and put her hand on my shoulders. „look..i didn't tell you that I gave him her gnosis, but. He said he needed it for an experimemt“, she sighed,i looked more confused than before. He needed the gnosis for what? And then my head lit up. I need to ask him personally,i need to find him. „Miko I need to leave. “, I said and ran down the mountain, I had to see the travaler Asap.
