27. The Traveling Adepti's

„My journey is gonna continue in sumeru, miko told me everything I had to know“ I said to them, Ayaka looked like a more accurate and nice young girl, she looked me with big eyes. “Sumeru?? I've never been to sumeru before! The land of wisdom ooh! “, she said exciting while getting her Fan. „Have fun and Goodluck in sumeru", she says and i smiled and thanked her. “OO sumeru? Not bad! That's where me and Paimon are also heading to! We need to find the god of wisdom ", he explained. I told him that Im gonna look for xiao since he's here somewhere, he also told he's gonna wait at the harbour and we both agreed to meet up there in the next hours.

I looked around the city while looking for The yaksha, i then found a milk tea stand and got curious, i stood in line and took out my mora to buy 2. I bought 2 milk teas and went further the city, i then remembered that he doesn't like people, so I went to the village outside the city.

„Took you awhile to recognise that i don't like crowded places.. ", i heard him saying behind me. „doesn't matter! We have to go. You heard Yae Miko, we need to go to sumeru", i said and grabbed his hand and we both sprinted to the harbour.

As we reached the harbour, Paimon and the traveler were waiting for us. „took you guys quite awhile! “, paimon Complained and crossed her arms, i apologized and we all went on board.

„So.. Is xiao gonna come to Sumeru too or... Is he gonna leave when we reach Liyue? “, Paimon asked while looking for xiao but it seems like That xiao went somewhere where other people weren't on the ship. „To be honest.. I don't know? But I'll ask him“, i said while scratching my neck. When thought about something something came across my mind.. Did I already told them that I was secretly one of the adepti..? Or.. I can no longer hide it, they already know that I'm Mikos younger sister but they definitely don't know my true self. I started to panic and looked around for Xiao.

„[Reader].. Uhm.. Is everything alright? “, Paimon asked alittle worried whil patting my shoulder, i just looked at her and calmed myself alittle down. „i have to find xiao “, i said and sprinted to the other side of the ship. As I was looking I felt a pair of eyes staring right into my body and i turned my head to face Xiao. „You're nervous.. What's the matter? “, he asks and placed his hand gently on my shoulder. „Its nothing..! I wanted to tell them my adepti side but u completly forgot it.. I have to tell them my identity.. I can't hide it no longer.. “, i said while crossing my arms and started to overthink. Xiao looked alittle worried and said. „Hey.. You have every right to think about it, but I'm sure the Traveler and Paimon will understand it. So Take ur time“, he tried to comfort me and I chuckled at his expression. „Thank you“, i chuckled and gave him a gently kiss on his cheek, i then ran off back to Paimon and she asked me if I was feeling better and yes,i felt alot better. Aether Was Discussing with Beidou and Kazuha about something and me and Paimon talked about food since we were starving.

After a few hours, aether came back to us, but i left them to sit down with Xiao. I looked for Xiao and remember his 'new comfort' spot on the ship.. The highest place.. On the ship mast. I looked around to look if someone was near me and I teleported to the mast and sat down there and took a deep breath from the fresh salt water sea. I then felt a pair of arms holding me tight and hugging me from behind and felt his head Leaning on my shoulder. „Finally you're here.. Took you quite some time“He said while nuzzling at my neck which made me send a few shivers down my spine.

I chuckled and took his hand and Intertwined our hands together while we looked at the setting sun. It was cool and quiet up here but you could still hear the people dancing and Celebrating on the deck. Xiao then sat beside me laying his head on my thighs as he closed his eyes. I just let him be and gently stroke his hair out of his face while I looked at the sun slowly fading to pinkish reddish. I also placed a gentle kiss on his forehead and smiled while taking his hand slowly again. It was peaceful, and i loved it, I enjoyed every second, i rubbed Xiaos hand gently with my thumb and i couldnt stop smiling, as if  the time stopped around us. It was perfect, the sea, the ship, everything was perfect and i enjoyed it very much.

„Xiao? “, i asked while holding his hand. „Hm?“ he mumbled still having his eyes closed. „Do you still wanna join me till sumeru? “, i asked him and his widen and he sat up. „.. Of course I promised not to leave your side“, he said while placing his hand on my cheek softly, i started to get alittle red and chuckled while taking his hand. „i know.. But Paimon asked me that's why! “ I then cupped his cheeks softly and placed a kiss on his nose. I sighed and looked back to the Sea. „I'll tell them my identity, i cant hide it longer“I said while looking to the sun almost disappearing from the sky. He nodded and he pulled me closer to his side placing his hand on my waist and forced me to sit on his lap. He took my hands and placed a few kisses on my neck, it tickled abit and i buckled from his reaction. I leaned my back onto his chest and now it was my turn to close my eyes, i felt a warm breeze touching my skin it was comfortable..

After 1 hour of enjoying the warmth moment of the sun who's now clearly gone. I decided to climb back, Xiao said he would join me later. I climbed down and looked for Aether and Paimon, as I wanted to take a further step I heard someone running towards me. „[Reader]! There you are, we looked everywhere! “Paimon said while breathing heavily from flying around everywhere. “ah sorry, I was with xiao up there“I said and excused myself. „Aether, Paimon we have to talk.."i said while sighing. „oh? Sure! If its something private then I suggest we go under deck", Aether said and we three headed down. “so..hoe can i explain it.. Uh-“, Paimon already full of excitement and aether looked at me with a worried face,i was about to say something until Xiao came. „Im here“, Paimon screamed from that unexpected jumpscare and hid behind aether, aether started to laugh. „So what do you wanted to say? “, Aether asked,„Well damn.. This is harder than I though.. “, i mumbled and felt Xiaos hands on my shoulder. He was trying to help me alittle and the word shot out of my mouth. “I am.. The unknown Adeptus also known as snow tiger.. “, i said in fast words, Paimon and Aether looked each other in the eyes and looked abit confused. „Ooh!! That's why The snow tiger and Xiao are 'that' close..!! I get it! “, Paimon said while finally getting it, After a While Aether also understood it. „I had the feeling to tell you guys this since.. You already know that me and miko are related.. And yeah“I said and they both nodded. I also told them the reason why I wanted to go to sumeru and they both faced each other. „Didn't we met the balladeer in inazuma? When he Took Ei's gnosis? “, Paimon asked Aether and he nodded in agreement. „Well then! Two Adepti on a ship Traveling to sumeru I guess“, Paimon said while overthinking abit and then she looked at me and Xiao with big eyes. "Ooh! OOH! I'm gonna give you two a duo name! The Traveling Adeptus! “she said happily while clapping her hands, i chuckled. After that we decided to head to bed or head to our Cabin, Xiao wanted to sleep on my side and i didnt mind it at all, I was rather surprised that he was being so clingy. I exchanged my clothes infront of him and changed to rather comfy clothes, he was staring at me the whole time while he's sat patiently on the bed waiting for me. I went to bed and cuddled with him, „Why are you so clingy today.. “, i asked while stroking his hair out of his face, he didn't answer and pulled me closer into his embrace, i laughed it off and hugged him back and we both drove off to dreamland once again..
