Harry

It was the morning of Halloween. A Friday, which also happened to be the first day of the week on which Harry was allowed to pick out the outfit of the day. Though, he had forgotten to do so last night since the video call went on forever. There had been other things on his mind, that now left him clueless on what to wear.

Luckily, he had been up before Liam and was now gifted with a couple of extra minutes to think. Jeans and a shirt were easy to choose from. On a normal day that is. Today, Harry was planning on acting sick. So, it all had to be believable. A play in three acts if you will.

First act: the setup. He had to build up to calling the party off. A simple headache or a bit of stomach trouble wasn't enough. Especially not if he was fine all morning and completely normal in school. Liam, Sam, Zayn, Maddy, his parents... they all had to believe him. He had been skipping practice a lot due to something "little" which he had been making up to cover his hangovers.

Therefore, Harry ended his stare-off with his wardrobe by picking out a pair of black sweatpants, a shirt, and a hoodie to go on top. All of those items had been worn a lot. They were comfortable, hinted a sense of sickness. Right? Right.

Once he had put those things on, he took his backpack and went to knock on his brother's door.

"Yeah?"

"It's Harry, can I come in?"

"Sure"

He heard his mother humming downstairs as he entered his twin's room. Liam was sitting on his bed with his phone in front of him, which was playing a youtube video.

"Good mor-", Liam took his eyes off of his phone screen and looked up at Harry, "that's what you wanna wear?"

"Looks like it. Got a problem?"

"I thought we agreed on not wearing that hoodie in school", his brother had a big skeptical frown on his face.

Harry's eyes wandered down his own body. The hoodie was a light blue, baby blue if you will. It used to be white before a neon blue shirt of theirs had found its way into the white laundry and stained all of it. "You agreed on it. I think it's comfortable and warm. It's freezing outside"

Other than Liam, Harry didn't have a problem with the new color. Though, ever since the incident, he had not worn it outside of the house. His brother had insisted on it.

Seeing Liam's unconvinced face, however, Harry added, "you can wear something else if you want. I'm sticking with this" and left the room again.

Back in the corridor, he decided to sit down on the first step of the stairs while he waited. Act one had a good start. Whenever he was ill or not feeling well, he tended to be more on edge, to seek out verbal fights with the people around him. Usually, he doesn't notice it until someone would point it out, but today he had to make sure to actively do so. Even if it was just a general annoyance about everything.

It didn't take long until Liam came out of his room. Surprisingly he had also put on the same pair of sweatpants and shirt that Harry had on underneath the baby blue traitor. On top, his brother had decided on a white jacket. Good enough for Harry.

"Ready?", Harry asked and got up to walk downstairs first.

"What's it look like", Liam followed.

During breakfast, Anne told them that she'd be home early to get a few things around the house done before she and their dad would leave. She had made cinnamon toast for breakfast. Two of which were still laying on Harry's plate, untouched. He had just finished his tea when he debated on how much he should eat to add to his play.
