Harry

Four weeks later...

"You had your first time in the back of a car?!", Haven asked staggered.

The rest of his friends looked just as horrified, even Stan who usually was very chill about stories like this one.

Harry frowned at their reactions, "I thought it was romantic! He even put up fairy lights"

"Oh my god, Harry, no!", Stan couldn't hold himself back anymore and started cracking up almost spilling his drink over Aiden who was standing next to him.

It was February now.

A couple of days after Harry's 18th birthday. Thursday night to be exact. Next week the twins would prepare their birthday parties which then would be held on Saturday that week.

Usually the two boys celebrated together, but not this year. Harry had decided not to give in this year. He didn't want to make compromises. So, he made a call, he was going to leave the usual to Liam, it'd be his thing, not theirs.

That was because Harry had enough of their parties, their music, their invitation lists, and the alcohol. Well, not necessarily the alcohol. Still. He wanted to do his own thing. So, he decided to go ice skating. Also on Saturday, even invited some of the same people as his twin, including Flynn, Paul and Louis.

Yes, Liam had invited Louis. Can you believe it? Whatever Louis was using to seduce him, it was definitely working.

Harry certainly had to wrap his head around them being friends and if he was going to be honest with himself, he wasn't even sure he liked that. But he certainly wasn't bothered enough yet to make a scene about it

For now, all he had to worry about was his birthday.

The entirety of the decision had caused quite a controversy. Both in between their friends and among themselves. Despite Harry believing that he became less and less relevant in his brother's life, Liam was still very much surprised that Harry had made that decision.

Not leaving out every opportunity to tell Harry how much he disliked the idea of going ice skating and how lame it was of Harry to do something like that. Especially when Liam found out it was Disco Queen Night. 'Not cool', 'questionable decision' and 'a girly theme' had only been three of the many comments. Perhaps he was simply jealous of Harry having his own life.

It felt diminishing. Harry had made a decision and was yet again taunted for it. There was still this need for approval inside of him. At first, he thought Liam would be thrilled to have his own party but once it turned out, that that wasn't the case, Harry's doubts came back. Manifesting themselves from day to day again.

However, there was no going back now. He stood by what he said. He'd have his ice skating night with his friends, while his brother would do the same thing as every other year.

And today, was his birthday night at the Highmen. Louis had to watch his sisters, otherwise, he'd have joined the five of them, just like he had done the last couple of times when Harry had come here. The two enjoyed being able to freely display their relationship in public at least somewhere, so Louis tried to come along as often as he could. Additionally, Louis had grown as fond of the place as his boyfriend.

Right now Harry was informing his friends as to how his actual birthday had gone, including his secret date with Louis, which may or may not have ended in the two having sex in the back of Louis' car.

"You serious?", Lexi wanted to clarify again.

"Yes, first movie, then music then kissing, and then, you know, suddenly we were nacked and shit", Harry took a sip from his drink, watching his friend's faces process.
