It had officially been a week since you had joined the host club. Returning from the weekend, you felt relieved. And also tired. You had just arrived at school, and since you liked being early, you had about 30 minutes until class started.

   "Good morning, N/n-chan!"

"Good morning, Honey-senpai." You returned his greeting.

"N/n-chan?" He asked, hugging his bunny doll you had found out was named Usa-chan.

   "What is it, Honey-Senpai?"

"I'm sorry Kyoya forced you to join the club. But I'm glad that you're joining us!" He circled his arms around you, giving you a hug. He must have found. He hadn't known about it when Kyoya introduced that you were going to be the newest club member.

You smiled and returned the action, "Thanks Honey-Senpai. I'm happy to be joining the club though!"

"Really?" He questioned, looking at you with wide eyes.

"Yeah! I mean, it seems fun, and it gives me something to do after school." You listed. "I also get to see you and the other hosts every day!"

Honey-Senpai paused before smiling again. "Thanks N/n-chan."

"Eh?" You paused, "For what?" You finished, tilting your head to the side.

He just laughed. "Come on! I'll take you to your class!" He grabbed your hand, dragging you off to your class.

Wait... does Honey-Senpai even know where my class is?

   ----

"Ah, N/n-chan!" The blonde greeted you.

"Hi... Suoh-chan..." You mumbled, sitting down for your second class.

"N/n-chan, what made you decide to join the host club so suddenly? Kyoya mentioned it in passing, but I was curious." Tamaki asked you.

You flinched. He still didn't know? You assumed Kyoya told everyone. It didn't seem like something you could just say with other people around. "I just thought it would be fun, there were other reasons, too of course. Class is about to start though, so I'll just tell you during club hours."

Tamaki looked at you somewhat suspiciously. "Of course N/n-chan! I can't wait to hear."

He said it was fine, but he kept sneaking a glance at you like a rejected puppy. Halfway through class, you gave in.

You sighed. "Alright I'll tell you now. Kyoya. That's what made me join." You shuddered.

Seeing this, Tamaki chuckled. "Honestly, that doesn't surprise me too much, N/n-chan. You seem like the total pushover type!" He joked.

Your face went blank. "Thanks... Suoh-chan..." You muttered.

   ----

You were bored. Your teacher for your fourth class wasn't here today, and no substitute was there. You were almost disappointed that Tamaki wasn't in this class. He was annoying, and pretty obnoxious as Haruhi would put it, but it was nice to talk to someone.

"Hey, kid." One of your classmates said. You wondered who they were talking about. More importantly, though, why would a kid be in the classroom? Did a teacher bring their kid into school? Was that even aloud?

A hand was now slammed down onto your desk. "Kid, did you even hear me?"

Oh, not again. You looked up to see a guy with red hair. He looked like he was a grungy delinquent shoved into one of the boy's uniforms. "I'm sorry, but I'm not a kid. I'm the same age as you and our other classmates, mister."

He paused, taking his hand off of your desk and taking a moment to think, "M-my apologies." he mumbled.

You smiled. He seemed socially awkward. "It's okay! My name's L/n Y/n, and you are...?"

He gave you a shocked look before spluttering, "I-I'm Kasanoda Ritsu. I-it's nice to meet you L/n-chan."

You held in a chuckle. He was like a little kid but with a mean face. "It's nice to meet you as well, Kasanoda-chan!"

He paused, a dumbfounded look on his face. "L/n-chan, are you by any chance the new member of the host club?"

"Yeah, I am actually!" You smiled cheerfully. How did he know? "Has word gotten around that much?"

He stiffened. "You mean you don't know?"

"Noo...?" Okay, what was it now?

"There's a ton posters hung around school about a new addition to the host club. A cute, short second year with H/c hair that goes to about here." He gestured to where your hair ended on himself.

You froze. What? Numbly walking outside, you stared at your feet before glancing up. Tamaki- no, Suoh was so dead.

   ----

"Suoh-chan!" You yelled, bursting into the host room. You had avoided him all during classes, knowing you would burst if you answered his insistent chatter.

"My poor, daughter!" Tamaki ran over to hug you, dramatic tears in his eyes. "What have those dirty twins done?! I get why you were avoiding me now! You were too embarrassed to show you face to you dearest father with all the gossip going around!" You had officially been squeezed to death.

"W-what do you mean twins?" You managed to whisper, your voice hoarse.

Tamaki gasped, dramatically of course. "Of course, the twins, N/n-chan! They had the audacity to cover the entire school with those dreaded flyers!" He ran over to the twins, pointing an accusing finger at them, "You indecent fiends! Tainting my daughter's good image!"

You were annoyed by the number of flyers everywhere, all with a silhouette of you saying various things like, 'look out for the new cutie in the club', or 'we're now can fill all of your hormonal needs!' as well as 'who's that host? Find out after school in Music Room No.3!' but now you felt bad assuming it was Tamaki.

"It's not our fault boss," Hikaru started slyly, leaning on Tamaki's shoulder.

"We were just following orders!" Karou followed his twin's actions with Tamaki's other shoulder.

Tamaki took a step back, making Hikaru and Karou both fall into each other, pouting. "Then who made those awful trademarks of my daughter!?"

"I'm afraid this would appear to be my fault." Kyoya came up front and stared directly at Tamaki and you. "I asked the twins to advertise our newest member's first day working directly as a host. Though it appears they took it a bit too far." He pushed up his glasses, making them glint in the suddenly dimmer light.

Tamaki looked dead. You would've thought he was if his grip on you had loosened, even a little bit. You were just here for the ride at this point.

"N/n-chan," Kyoya began. "My sincerest apologies for the trouble these two have caused you." He didn't sound all that sincere.

You gave him a bright smile, still in Tamaki's death grip. "I-it's alright, Kyoya-chan. There's no real harm done..." You trailed off for a second. "I'll forget it ever happened if you have the posters cleaned up and gone by tomorrow. You owe me, though." You smiled even wider. You'd been told your smile could get kinda creepy, and since you acting skills weren't the best you were hoping it was so now.

Kyoya sighed. "Alright. I'm glad I could make it up to you, N/n-chan." He was smiling back through gritted teeth.

You giggled. "I'm glad that we made amends. Now, let's get ready for the club! I don't want to be underprepared for my first day hosting on my own!"

You held in your laughter as Kyoya glared your way. Tamaki had risen from the dead, though was glummer than ever, not even Haruhi could cheer him up. Honey and Morinozuka had gone to clean up the posters, dragging the twins with them.

You were getting ready, changed into your new outfit, ready for the challenge ahead.
